You have to understand that when the change difference is only 6 percentage points a game like TLoU IS the difference. It sold ~250k in June alone. If we take the 250k away you get the same change for both.

It's not spin, it's context. You're not looking at the reasons for the difference in decline. The reason is not that PS3 owners are migrating faster, it's simply that PS3 got a huge game last year while 360 didn't.
Why are you looking at its 10 weeks? It launched in June.
Like I said, Gears is cancelled out by GoW.

PS3 had a great launch and it was a beast in Europe.
It is not easy to sell the same than competition with 1 year less in US and 1,5 year less in EU.

that would result in less overall software sales 2014
