Dylan Sommers

Dylan found the cargo place way comfortable. Silence, seclusion... it was nearly perfect for him. Laying on top of the crate looking up, playfully tapping his feet on the side of the crate. That was the only part of the trip he was truly enjoying. He seemed to be murmuring a tune while staring at the roof with all the bolts and an open shaft.

"...you spin me right round, baby, right round like a record, baby, right round right round. You spin--"

A peculiar noise interrupted Dylan's singing. His eyes were fixated on the maintenance shaft. He thought he heard the unmistakeable squeak of the skin sliding on a metal surface. He also noticed a clinking noise, like a bunch of bullets in a bag or something. He slowly rose from his lying state while staring at the shaft.

"I think... we have another intruder in this ship." he smiled in amazement.

He stood up on top of the crate. If he was right, he could be able to jump and grab ahold the maintenance shaft entrance.

"Here I go." a malicious smile drew on his face.

Nina could not make sense of all that had happened.  She got into the lotus position and sat with eyes closed to gain serenity.  The mission is what mattered, no distractions anymore. Venezuela could not be far now, so she had to ready her body and mind. Leaving the chaotic vessel she journied to other planes of existence finding sancuary in her mind.  A simple clearing and a waterfall to rest and not worry.  There would be plenty to concern herself with in mere hours, for now she enjoyed the quiet contentment her palace of the mind offered her amonst the tumult.

Hearing a loud banging coming from the cargo bay, Simon could only assume one thing....someone else had joined him in the maintenance shaft. "Fuck" he whispered to himself. "This might get unpleasant." Turning to face the direction of the cargo bay, he could only wait and see how this played out.

While on top of the crate, he jumped once towards the entrance, but couldn't reach it. Second time, he nearly grasped the edge.

"Third time's the charm." He then jumped a bit higher and managed to grasp the edge. Dylan grunted as he hoised himelf up into the shaft. As he got inside, he saw a guy in a black sweatshirt. He seemed surprised, and nervous. Dylan, on the other hand, was all smiles. His bloodshot eyes made him look like a maniac.

"Well, well, well... what do we have here? A stowaway..." Dylan unholstered his Beretta.

"Hello, I'm Simon," Simon responded, shakily repeating his introduction from earlier, but doubting that it would have the same effect. "Uhh, please put the gun down?"

Admittedly his current situation was hard to explain, and the last thing he wanted was a fight in this small passageway with a guy like this, who seemed verifiably insane. Unfortunately, he just couldn't find the words to convince this guy to leave him alone. Simon quietly slipped one hand underneath the vent between them and the other into his pocket of bullets, so if this maniac made another move, he would have a quick exit.

"Hello, 'Simon please put the gun down'. First, hands where I can see them. Now!" Dylan pronounced slow and calmly. He was waiting for him to obey, "Last thing you want is for my team hunting you down. You have no escape."

Dylan was now aiming his Beretta towards Simon and cocked the hammer. Stoic and emotionless, he stared at the intruder with those dangerous eyes. Eyes that have seen stuff.

"Now Simon, if tell me who the hell are you and what are you doing here, I won't shoot you. So no funny business."

"Well, uhhh...." Simon said, his mind racing, but unable to form much of a sentence. Deciding to let his skills speak for themselves, he suddenly flung the vent grate at Dylan, deflecting any bullets that may have been fired. Then, sliding himself forward, Simon flipped out of the maintenance shaft, landing on his feet in the middle of the War Room. As he fell, Simon let just five bullets fall from his pocket. In a flash, he removed his five shot revolver from his belt and caught the bullets in the chamber. Four of them slid in no problem, but the fifth bounced off of the gun and fell to the floor. Pointing the gun upward with incredible speed, the chamber slid into place, loaded with 4/5 bullets as he pointed it in Dylan's direction.

Looking around the room with the corner of his eye, he saw that most eyes were on him (although some passengers seemed remarkably unphased), and a few guns were already pointed at his own head. "Hello, I'm Simon," he said to the room, hoping they weren't so unstable as to shoot on sight. Lt. Tear could explain this...hell, even Max could speak up and say something, but in the middle of all of these people, the wheels were spinning in his head, but his thoughts weren't going anywhere.

Dylan tried to push the grate away from where he was lying. He looked down and saw Simon, aiming at him.

"Oh fuck... Fuck, fuck, fuck." he whispered, "He got me this time. Well... time to face the music."

He slid himself forward towards the maintenance shaft opening, but he went through it and fell onto the war room floor on his back.

"ARGH!! FUCK!!" Dylan moaned and squirmed in pain on the floor. Simon had his gun on him, and Dylan looked at him at the eye, "Okay Simon. You got me. Aagh! Please, be gentle."

As Chris left the War Room, he heard a noise. He looked back to check and the Taylor Lautner lookalike was on the floor. Chris also saw a man with a gun pointed at the man's face. Thinking fast he shoved the man standing up. He sure didn't remember this guy when he was checking his teammates out.

Suddenly getting shoved from behind, Simon fell over Dylan, spilling the bullets in his pocket all over the floor. As swiftly as he could (which, in fact wasn't very swiftly) he rolled over and pointed the gun on the overly muscular man who just entered the room, deeming Dylan no longer a threat. The whole situation had turned into a bit of an almost comedic mess, but until Simon was back on his own, he wouldn't be laughing. He thought about introducing himself again, but ultimately decided it was best to remain silent...introductions don't seem to be a good way to diffuse a situation.
