Bayonetta 2. The game will appeal to hardcore gamers more than a light-hearted Sonic title will. Sonic Lost World is barely outselling W101, and Bayonetta is poised to have much higher sales than those games.

Oddly enough I am hyped for that game, I have played previous Sonic games and they were not my cup of tea, this one feels different so I am keeping an eye on it. Also buying Bayo 2, but that does not mean that there is no interest for Sonic Boom, it could also find an audience with kids thanks to the tv show.

I'm also watching Sonic Boom with interest. While it seems widely despised by Sonic purists, I actually like its resemblence to games like Banjo Kazooie and Ratchet & Clank, which for my money are better games than any of Sonic's portfolio. Sure, they graphics look rubbish, but I've enjoyed plenty of graphically unimpressive games before.
Bayonetta 2 will sell better. The last Sonic game (Lost World) and many others were poorly received, and Lost World has low sales. I can't imagine Sonic Boom selling much better than Lost World unless it turns out to be a great game.
Playing Xenoblade 2 before I buy Xenoblade 3 (otherwise I couldn't wait to play 3).
Can they announce a new Fire Emblem? A remake of Genealogy or Tellius would suffice !

If indies publish the games inderpendently (As a third party) you can easily argue they're third party. |
If Platinum Games self-publish it's an indie developed game published by an indie developer. It's as much of an indie game as you can possibly get.
For Bayonetta 2 to be a third party developed game the developer has to be owned by a publisher that isn't a platform holder. Platinum Games are an indie developer, they're not owned or part-owned by any publisher. The first game, published by Sega, was also an indie developed game...it's a third party game, yes, because Sega published it. But whether a game is a third party developed game, an indie developed game, a second party developed game or a first party developed game entirely rests on the ownership of, or the lack of ownership of, the developer.
Bayonetta 2 cannot be a third-party developed game. It's impossible.

As I understand it Bayonetta 2 is a Nintendo published game. You could probably cassify it under the colloquial term, second party, if you chose.
However, the consept of Platinum game publishing as a "Indie" is where you're a fault here. Whether you choose to cassify platinum indie or not make no diffrence to the fact platium would be a third party publisher if they published it themselves.
There are third party publishers and first party publishers. If you self publish as an inderpendent you are a third party publisher. It's just you arn't a mainstream third party publisher.
Sonic looks just soooo terrible. I think that there is litterally no one in the entire world who actualy think the game looks good atm (I'm overdoing it but you get my point).
Bayo on the other hand is the complete opposite, everything about this game look so good, Bayo has hype, Sonic does'nt at all.
What?! I can't hear you over all this awsome! - Pyrrhon (Kid Icarus:Uprising)

Honestly I think Bayo 2 but I could easily see Boom selling more lifetime. Nintendo is doing a huge job promoting Bayo 2 but they will probably do the same for Boom when it launches too. You've got to understand that Boom has a show coming out to compliment it. It has an overall higher ceiling than Bayo 2 in my opinion.
The storyline of Bayo interests me greatly and the fact that it comes with Bayo 1 hd version is exciting to me enough for me to buy it.
I love Boom because it reminds me of my favorite Sonic game of all time, Sonic Adventures 2 for Gamecube! I miss those choas or however they were spelled!
