Both third party developed, Nintendo published Wii U games coming this Q4.

Which will move more units lifetime, and why do you think so?

Bayonetta 2 isn't third party developed, Platinum Games are an indie developer.

The two are not mutually exclusive.

Yes they are. A third party developed title is developed by a team that is owned by a third party publisher. An indie developer is an independent developer with no ties to a third party publisher or a first party publisher. That's what independent means lol.

I'm not sure who's developing Sonic Boom tbh, whether they're a third party or indie developer but Platinum Games are an indie developer and as such it's impossible for them to produce a third party developed game. No semantics here, it's a cold hard fact.

Platinum are working for Nintendo in this, not acting independently, so they are third party.

Bayonetta, the only thing that can save Sonic Boom is the cartoon being a huge hit.

Bayo 2. Just look at Sonic The Lost World sales

If there's any justice in the world, Bayonetta 2.

Sonic Lost World was really great, but it got panned by many (I'd risk sounding very conditioning if I attempted to rationalise why) and sold poorly. Sonic Boom is unlikely (from what I've seen) to be anywhere near as good as lost world, will be even more hated and will also sell terribly.

Having seen the latest Bayonetta 2 direct I can't imagine that not selling well. I'm certainly very hyped.

Wonderful 101 (a new IP) and Sonic Lost World are pretty much neck and neck right now, so I'll say Bayonetta 2.

Damn, you're not kidding.  I had no idea that Sonic Lost World did that poorly.  I'll go with Bayonetta 2 as well.

If  indies publish the games inderpendently (As a third party) you can easily argue they're third party.

But there actually quite a lot of room is room for sematic debate here. If they publish on the Nintendo estore you could actually argue that Nintendo is the publisher. You can also argue that Amazon is the publisher of all kindle ebooks and Apple is the publisher of all iphone games. Lot of semantics here. No cold hard facts.
