that wouldn´t help at all, 360 had big japanese exclusives but got still outsold by the ps2,
their only chance to become sucessfull in japan would be to buy one or even more of the big japanese publishers and they won´t do that
imo those games wouldn't do much for the xb1. DQXI would be a megaton though!
With home consoles gaming dead in japan, PS4 selling only 7k a week. There is nothing, I repeat, NOTHING, that could make the Xone sell in japan. Not even a Monster Hunter or Pokémon game, these at best would catapult the sales from 500 a week to 10k for the launch week of these games, drop to 3k the following and then back to sub 1k, nothing to brag about.

However, I wouldn't mind seeing some of these games on X1 because they could appeal to western audiences as well.
Hence, MS shouldn't bother if the goal is just to sell a few more units in Japan.

None of this will happen. Microsoft have proven over the last 13 years that they do not care about Japanese gamers.
If they did, they would have tried harder with the Xbox and Xbox 360.

13 years? I guess you're ignoring the years 360 received numerous Japanese games.
Nintendo is the only company I feel actually cares about Japan and they should given their success there. Sony and MS just want relevance in Japan and rely on 3rd parties to get it.

Hmmmm, nah I think they would need something bigger than any of those games. Those games would be a good start but they would still need something bigger. Like what you ask? something like Dragon Quest or Monster Hunter would be huge in Japan.
