They need better artists: Link and Zelda's face on Twilight Princess were good and that was on Gamecube.

That's not an excuse for those horrible models, and the pic on the OP looks like a PS2 game. Honestly, some parts looks so awesome (like the announcement trailer) while others looks like shovelware (some parts at the E3 vids).

They really are awful at making facial models; I agree. Still time to touch them up which believe it or not they did with Xenoblade over the inital announcement trailer.
But yeah it's no excuse; but when the enviroments look so good it's not something worth focusing on. And most certainly it's not the point of the thread. Do I need to say "This is off topic discussion"?

Is this directed solely at me, or everyone else? Becuase obviously I'm not the only one focusing on it. I disagree, when the enviroments look so good, there's no excuse for these types of facial models. But I digress. Don't want to derail the thread.
