Everyone will quote power and it limiting the series ambition, but the funny thing is that is part of the reason Revelations was so successful on 3DS, it was focus. You can tell it was a portable game and it was used the majority of its development to focus on game design and atmosphere as opposed to graphical fidelity.

I think this is a big mistake by capcom as the console versions didn't sell well at all (including the Wii U). They are now going to have to change a lot of aspects of the game to appeal to console gamers and the jury is out on whether they have the ability to do that.

That's not enough of a reason. Resident Evil the MAIN series moved to GameCube after being so succesful on PS1 and despite the fact that PS2 sold MUCH MUCH better than the GameCube. RE4 still went exclusive for many years. This is just how business works, loyality is not in the equation.


it moved to gamecuve but it was a totally different game if it were like old RE games it would have stayed on ps

It is actually funny the hypocrisy of console Sony/MS fans ... the nerd rage over Tomb Raider, yet not much of a peep over RE Revealtions even though it sold most on the 3DS.

Not really, but you take an exclusive away from Sony fans and they cry for weeks at a time. It really is a double standard.

I cant because the Xbox one has fewer owners.


But then since it wont be a good resident evil game anyway (has to be bad since its multiplat and only timed Nintendo exclusive RE games are good for at least 10 years now) Nintendo gamers wont buy it anyways :)

That's the same reason we're not raging. Also i would watch it with generalizing as you're in a topic where people are hoping the game would flop because it's not on the 3DS. Talk about crying!
