commercials that long are pointless. Most people don't watch ads on TVs.

People on the other hand watch youtube, in the millions for some videos.

Best we can all you is share that video so your friends see it and then they share it and more see it.

But it's still expensive for a 3 minute commercial, not mattering in which timeslot airs.

OT, this commercial is what the Wii U needed during release.

"Because Nintendo doesn't need commercials, you're either going to buy a Wii U or not, commercials won't change anyone's mind so its pointless." This is what someone said about the topic of Nintendo making commercials and adverts like this.

The argument got even worst when he went off comparing gaming ads to like toilet paper saying you dont need to advertise that, and saying no one watches TV enough anymore and that there is no point of advertising on the internet because he uses adblocker and also saying games like Mario Kart sell themselves they didn't need any advertisement. I pretty much left the conversation when he said I am just a gaming  nerd who never leaves the house and knows nothing of the real world...I find it funny how he is telling this to someone who is minoring in marketing.
