Japan 3DS sales will go up, but in the rest of the world 3DS sales will probably go down the next months. I wouldn't buy one of the old models when the new models are just a few months away.

PS4>3DS.

Rest-of-world PS4>3DS, and significantly, too. Again, you have the New 3DS to blame.

The 3DS had a hardware revision last year too, so that's kind of a wash. And if you think Smash will sell more systems than Pokemon + Zelda then I don't know what to tell you.The 3DS has sold quite a bit less YTD than it had in 2013 and it will definitely sell less this holiday. The PS4 has exclusive marketing/content with Destiny and Farcry, plus LBP3, Driveclub, and an onslaught of third party titles. That's more than enough for the PS4 to follow the typical holiday sales ratio for consoles that would put it around 3ds' 2013 numbers.

But hey, I'd be more than happy to bet if you're not convinced.

That's less than 80k on shelves for WiiU and ~470k for 3DS. Both too low

I think the 3DS will actually sell more during Christmas, but the PS4 will still have an easy overall lead for the year.
