Is this real?
Miyamoto is really cutting down the Wii/DS audience just because they can't get them back?

Lol "pathetic?" , well......that audience is needed to some extent, but the main focus should be core gamers all-round.
Nintendo needs to start the Domino Effect, where people buy a Wii U because a lot of their friends have them.
Well, my suspicions about who was responsible of this change have been confirmed.
I'd like to see the impact this has on the approval ratings.
Non-casual Nintendo is niche, so not a threat. Cool with me. Keep it up Miyamoto.
So it is happening...PS4 preorder.
Greatness Awaits!
For all you guys saying that Miyamoto called the audience pathetic, he didn't. He called the attitude pathetic.

Well the thing is when Nintendo lost a chunk of their audience to Sony at least the industry was still left on stable ground.
The casuals on the other hand are destroying the traditional game market by devaluing and only accepting $1 shovelware type games.
I'm a little surprised that Miyamoto is that candid, but I'm not surprised that they feel that way.

Honestly I think they could've beaten Microsoft this gen for 2nd at least if they had made a more traditional machine that was considerably more powerful than the existing PS3/360 and used that one year head start to greater effect.
A shame really.

Not very niche at all. It's a threat in the holidays and 2015 - Jan - Aug, as far as I know.
Well, except 1/2 months from that range.

He called the attitude pathetic, not the audience. I'm upset at the translation because it makes it seem as though he just bashed 200M+ people.
