It will be a cross gen title with the Wii W. We already had Windwaker on WiiU, therefore the next Zelda title has to be shared with the next console. It's what happens after Windwaker.

2015... there is hope!

I think the 2015 date is already the delayed date.

They once said they wanted to have the new Zelda out in three years [after Skyward Sword]. When it's released in 2015, it'll be four years. That's pretty long for any game. Skyward Sword only took so long because they started out slow, making two DS games, and spending two years making a sword-fighting engine. Twilight Princess only because they decided in a late stage of development to make a Wii port after they were done with the GameCube version, which deliberately delayed to have a semi-simultaneous release. On top of that they could have already shown it at E3 last year, which means that now they have a whole lot more than what they showed.

I see no reason yet to think Zelda U will come any later than holiday 2015. I think it'll release then.

Everything will be fine as long as Nintendo doesn't crush that hope without mercy!

Zelda is the november/december 2015 title

And Pokken is the november/december 2016 title

Pokken will be a 2015 Arcades title and a 2016 Wii U title

If Nintendo manages to get an installbase of 10 millions at the end of this year they can still push the Wii U to N64-Sega Genesis numbers imo.

Super Mario 3D All-Stars or Mario Galaxy HD win probably never come on Wii U, and for sure not in 2015.
Some of games from list will be pushed to 2016, probably Star Fox.

Nintendo needs a big holiday title next year, to coincide with a major price drop they are most likely planning.

Take note! Mario Kart: Double Dash!! coincided with the price drop of the GameCube to $99.
I see the same thing (albeit with the Wii U still not approaching sub-$200 levels) with Zelda U.

Even if it does, you still got Xenoblade, wich will keep you busy and delighted for quite a while.

Besides, delays are not something that should be a problem. Delivering a great game should be the priority and i'm ok with that. Of course, it doesnt mean it will get delayed, its just that everything gets delayed nowadays and that gives you that feeling. We'll see.
