Forums - Gaming - Polytron and Phil Fish Hacked, tons of Personal Info Leaked

The only good thing coming out of this is apparently he's selling FEZ, so we might see a FEZ 2 afterall!

Lazyiness? his other passwords were good like  NPABqTlkxt2tN3E5 and eoywOS7ln9CPbxYWBMzq

I also think we have the company wifi on something very easy.. companyname123 or something like that

But those are actually terrible passwords (good for security, awful for memory). The good old fashioned HorseBatteryStaple is just as entropic and unbreakable by brute force than some random and bizarre character arrangement.

it seems like Phil Fish might have not gotten hacked after all. At this point, I don’t know, and I won’t report anything thing on this story till there is a definitive 100% from both “sides.” All the new information can be found here

neh.. that image has been debunked immediatly when it surfaced.. cloudflare wasn't hosting the site.. but it cached the site..  2 step verification on cloudflare is optional and in this case has nothing to do with the polytron site which was hosted elsewhere.

this dude gets 50% after all expensive from the FEZ revenue for 5 years..

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

Your beliefs are, imo, masked excuses created by people to accept their own lack of success and delude themselves into the false idea that their lives are fruitless because of some other outside entity.

It's not a belief when every statistical dataset confirms it.

There is a difference in looking at, say, poverty and drawing a connection between that and lack of success and solely blaming it. I never said everyone has an equal road to achivement. What I AM saying is, that the road is always there regardless. The only difference between the silver spoon baby and the man born into poverty is that the man in poverty has to work much harder and overcome hell to get where he wants to be. If he wants anything, he can get it, he just has to fight like hell.

If you wake up every morning blaming your waistline on genetics, or your (up to that point) failed life on being born into poverty, that's sure as hell all you will ever be. Excuses are the antithesis of responsiblity. If you believe in them, you will achieve nothing.

Who is "solely blaming it" ?

Not cool.

Phil Fish has done and said some stupid things, but it's only because he suffers from depression and doesn't handle bullies well... The last thing people should do is bully him more. Very sad.

There are lots of great targets for hackers to exploit, like corrupt politicians, CEOs, etc. Why go after him?

So we should defend a bully because he is bullied back? That doesn't make sense at all. Phil Fish is one of the biggest bullies out there. If he cannot take what he dishes out then that is his problem.

Aye those passwords don't fill all the tick boxes to a strong password,

Over 8 characters - yes

Caps and non Caps - Yes

Numbers - Yes

Symbols - No

The only thing having stupid passwords like that would do in an office would be force people working there to write them down or to store them somewhere since they are just beyond the level of pointlessly complex to remember unless there happens to be some relevence to the arangement but I certainly doubt it with the combinations of Qs and Zs.
