After reading this, I must say im now an official sceptic to this supposed "hack" that happened.  Gonna keep my eye on this thread in case anymore info is brought up.

While these supposed hacks were happening, and these threads on 4chan /v/ started appearing baiting and claiming responsibility for hacking / trying to egg users on to attack zoe, Adam Sessler, who was with Zoe at the time, posted this.

If all of your accounts were being hacked, would you be sat in a bar with a friend, casually drinking alcohol, both on laptops, both on 4chan? - Nope, you would be in your email / on the webpages of your accounts trying to get them back.

but you would if you were manufacturing the whole situation.

I'm believing this "hacK" was fake.

Especially a supposived 1.5gb file was uploaded in such a short amount of time.

But within the file, supposedly, there was information about Phil's empolyees. Phil could have jail time if it was him.

I'm going to give this a second good read, I'm the meantime, .... Screw you, Phil Fish!

In life you will get what you put into it.

That's an already falsified myth. The vast majority of what you get out of life is pre-subscribed to you at birth due to social conditions, culture, and hierarchy.

"What you put into it" only nudges that scenario in all but the most lottery-like levels of lucky scenarios.

I'm not saying that putting in effort and good ethics isn't good... That positive nudge and especially that social contribution are very important. But the idea that people get what they deserve is patently false in our society.

I believe the human condition can overcome nearly anything thrust at it. Social conditions, culture, lack of hierarchy, none of that will determine shit. A human being growing up in hellest of hells can get out if they want it bad enough. You, and only you, will decide the life you live.

There are two types of people. The types that conditionally try and the types and won't stop, regardless of said conditions. The first group will achieve nothing. The second group will achieve something.

Your beliefs are verifiably false, as lack of social mobility has already proven.

Your beliefs are, imo, masked excuses created by people to accept their own lack of success and delude themselves into the false idea that their lives are fruitless because of some other outside entity.

Not cool.

Phil Fish has done and said some stupid things, but it's only because he suffers from depression and doesn't handle bullies well... The last thing people should do is bully him more. Very sad.

There are lots of great targets for hackers to exploit, like corrupt politicians, CEOs, etc. Why go after him?

I have a depression, anxiety disorder, OCD disorder and costochondritis.

It's no excuse to act like a douchebag.

(Although I mostly resolved my issues thanks to medication and exercise, so no need to feel sorry for me :D)

That's very admirable and the right way to view things imo. The world doesn't owe anyone anything. People get into this place where they think people owe them things because they are fat, depressed, broke etc. and as a result, sit around playing the victim role instead of fixing their life and making things the way they want them to be.

It would be nice if the world was a loving place where everyone took care of everyone but it's not and the sooner people realize this and take charge and responsibility of their lives, the better those people will be.

While I agree he can be a douche at times, really what did he say that hurt your feelings (or anyone's) so much?

That he has a different POV on electronic toys (yes that's still what games are) than some other people?

If you were following his Twitter feed over the last week or so, you wouldn't even question the situtation. When you generalize people in an openly bigioted way, this is what happens especially online where hackers exist. This should have been expected and he made his own bed imo.

It's not a belief when every statistical dataset confirms it.

Did someone also download the file? the info is proffesional suicide if Phil leaked it.. Canada revenue agency files.. there are adresses, phone numbers from his employees.. Contracts from Sony with confidential written on it.. Sony standard price matrix for all countries.. Wow at some stuff: SCEA sets the PSN retail price while the company may advise on a price its SCEA who decides it..

Most interessting are the Royalties numbers from MS, Sony, Steam, GOG and humble bundle.. in may and june 2014 they still made 344.905 dollar from fez.. Total steam royalties are 1.7 million dollar... also contains how it the royalties are distributed among the people who worked on FEZ..

And he had the worse password ever.. "fishfish23" and a great one "gameoveryeah" for the polytron website
his wifi password is: "routersaregreat"..

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

How can a game programmer be this stupid with his passwords? That's, what, like zero entropy.

There is a difference in looking at, say, poverty and drawing a connection between that and lack of success and solely blaming it. I never said everyone has an equal road to achivement. What I AM saying is, that the road is always there regardless. The only difference between the silver spoon baby and the man born into poverty is that the man in poverty has to work much harder and overcome hell to get where he wants to be. If he wants anything, he can get it, he just has to fight like hell.

If you wake up every morning blaming your waistline on genetics, or your (up to that point) failed life on being born into poverty, that's sure as hell all you will ever be. Excuses are the antithesis of responsiblity. If you believe in them, you will achieve nothing.
