why not ? the first three games came all on the nintendo 64 and did very good for its time.

Shooting fans flocked to the N64. Wii U doesn't appeal to that audience.

i know but a high profile game if done right that is could also work on the Wii U.

They appeal to me and around 3/4 of a million zombiu owners so...... Maybe we just dont like COD. But a nintendo exclusive fps i could see doing very well If It was actually decent.

Not worth the risk.

More potential as a multiplat game.

Who currently owns the IP?

Disney Interactive.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Well its possible a studio could license a Turok game. Disney is still in that business.

But why bother? There isn't any significant demand for more Turok.

Disney owns the videogame licenses while dreamworks owns the movie and tv license and another company has the comic stuff.. No way disney is gonna do anything with it.. Just look at the mess with the marvel characters divided by all the movie studios and Disney/marvel not really supporting the x-men ( no movie toys) and fantastic four (in the comics they aren't important anymore, disney pushed guardians of the galaxy into the spotlight)

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

So you want a Turok reboot on Wii U?

I wouldn't mind seeing some sort of reboot. But it simply couldn't thrive on Wii U.

I think Bayonetta 2 should be considered the case study of whether or not a new Turok Wii U exclusive (or really any other mature exclusive)  could work.

I'd wager however successful Bayo 2 can be on Wii U, Turok can be that and so much more successful. It has a legacy to the Nintendo fanbase as well as those who are lapsed Nintendo fans.

I'd also wager you don't think Bayo 2 will be that successful either.

I understand where you're coming from, I just don't agree.

So they would never consider selling something they're probably never going to use again?

There is demand for something different in the FPS genre though.

If the feeling of confronting dinosaurs is done convincingly enough, it would be a standout entry in the genre. It'd be something that could really take gamers pleasantly by surprise.
