It is not 2:1. Most of June and July, Xbox was only 1k behind in weekly sales to ps4. Only with the last of us release, ps4 has been about 1.8:1 the last 3 weeks.

I suggest you check the UK sales again. TLOU week the PS4 outsold the X1 3:1. week after that 1,8:1. Week before that 1,8:1. Week before that 1,5:1.

So okay, not 2:1, only 1,7 (estimated average). Still, how do you expect it to catch up?

X1 has had no new games come out. TLOU came out and got a big boost. That is normal and expected.

The reverse will be true when Halo MCC comes out. X1 will outsell it 3:1. Only this time the gains will be more sustained because Halo has way more fans and is a much bigger gaming franchise.

BWHAHAHAHA, You dont actually beleive this do you? I feel sorry for you if you do, Nov is gonna be a hard month for you. That won't even happen with Halo 5 let alone old remakes which doi not have the same pull as new games.

At least Halo MCC has all 4 games and much better value with Halo 5 beta.

HUH??? How? TLOU never moved much ps4 hardware see NPD (PS vgchartz is not accurate), and no  remakes wont make x1 outsell ps4 3:1 that is pure dilusion. 4 remakes or 1, what you arer saying will happen is not reality.

PS4 will outsell XOne in the US by a margin of 2:1, which are incidentally the odds that TheDrill changed his user name.

It has been shown this year that the PS4 is a much stronger console in the US and UK. X1 fans believed that Titanfall will boost the X1 past the PS4. It never happened. In fact, the PS4 outsold the X1 in the US in March by a significant margin. Then, came the Kinect-less SKU. A lot of X1 fans thought unbundling the Kinect will help the console outsell the PS4 permanently. Again, it didn't happen.

Whatever advantages the 360 had are all gone. Online gaming, better multiplats, ease of development, and even advertisement. Sony has been trumping MS in all these aspects. If the best Xbox couldn't outdo the worst Playstation, who's to think that the X1 can beat the PS4, even in the US and UK? The gap is growing and it will really grow in September thanks to the Destiny bundle. The deficit will become harder to overcome because consumers will buy PS4's because their friends and family have one, too.

Never in gaming history does one game (or collection) single-handily reverses a console's misfortunes. Halo MCC, while a collection of a huge franchise, will only provide a temporary boost. Same applies to Halo 5, Quantum Break, and the new Gears. If you want to permanently raise the baseline sales, you have to consistently release exclusives in forms of both established franchises and new IPs. That is why the PS3 slipped past the 360. The other problem is the possibility that Halo MCC will mostly be purchased by gamers who already had an X1. Point being, never rely on just one game (or collection in this case).

So XB1 has Halo.  Great.  You are going to be awfully surprised when that ONE title still isn't enough to overcome the PS4 in sales, aren't you?
