Since Microsoft are their partner, it smells party clause

Please Google what the parity clause actually is -_-

Xbox One - PS4 - Wii U - PC

Around the Network

Other than how graphically demanding going from High to Very High/Ultra gets on the GPU in modern games (not to mention Uber-Sampling in Witcher 2) for often a minimal level of graphical performance, the bottleneck is the CPU performance in PS4/XB1 consoles:

Rashid Sayed: Furthermore, has the slower clock speed of the PS4/Xbox One resulted into thread management issues?

Balazs Torok: The slower clock speeds are not really a problem in terms of thread management, but they are definitely problematic in terms of performance. Optimizing the CPU side is definitely one of the challenges we have to tackle to be able to run our game on the consoles.

I think even without 1080p, this will be a beautiful game until we see 1st party exclusives from XB1/PS4 that will take the graphics crown.

If it doesn't hit it on the one they are probably having more problems with, the other one will probably suffer to "support their partners."

Thanks jlmurph!

Yeah, the CPU is the weakest link of all three 8th gen systems.

is not a surprise to me, i prefer to see the game at 720p with 60fps than 1080p with lower 30fps.
