That's the impression I was under. That it was dropoff time, after school, on the road. If she lets the girl off, she loses her job, in that situation.

I just don't know why the daughter is being charged with disorderly conduct. I don't think she utters a peep throughout the whole ordeal, and she only springs to action once her mother is being assaulted; something most people should do.

This is why I think middle-aged women and men shouldn't be bus drivers, I think ex-cons would fit nicely. Kids will be scared, but a part of it will be out of respect. Plus it helps former prison inmates to rehabilitate into normal society by giving them a steady job.

In the end, everyone wins.

^ the problem is that kids nowa days are brats--i know in my day if i pulled that crap the bus driver would have been fine and as soon as i got home i would have been taken down a peg or two and unable to sit for a week---

this is what you get when you dont spank your kids and try to be a buddy insted of a parent

They were both wrong.  The girl was being an idiot trying to get off the bus in the middle of nowhere, but the bus driver should have explained that she's just doing her job and her penalty if she lets her off.  The bus driver also shouldn't have ever touched the girl.  Even pushing almost always leads to more.  The police is to blame too, they never showed up to help.

The bus driver called in for help, and they got stuck in traffic. The police were called AFTER the fight had occurred so how is it the polices fault in this at all? Remove head from ass. Operation Complete.

In the end, they both assaulted each other, and they both should be charged. I understand the bus drivers position and support her for her actions, but it was assault.

Also ssj12, you can't drop kids off at the side of the road. You lose your job, and probably would get charged for endangering a minor/child since the side of a road is REALLY safe y'know.
