Actually, I'd say the majority of the gaming media and forumgoers are heavily pro-Sony, which makes any critique of them stand out by contrast.

It would be preferable if the OP gave examples of this bashing going on. The one thing I have Heard about share play, is some fans saying it sounds alot like the family sharing on X1, although share play was announced first. Some have complained about the restrictions, but I get a feeling most are Sony fans?

And the wobble of the console, was that even a big discussion? No, I Think this is over analyzing, and compared to the armada of Sony fans that invade every X1 thread, this is nothing.

For every gen, the most popular console gets the most hate and criticism.

However, this gen, Sony seems to be doing a lot right so some criticisms or hate may come off as illogical or malicious. I know for a fact that this gen any kind of hate towards MS and the Xbox one is greatly encouraged and in a way they kinda deserve it because Sony helped save this generation of gaming and is the more popular gaming brand around the world. 

It is very easy to confuse construct criticism of Sony as hate especially since it seems they are doing all right, which they are. still, criticism is good for Sony so they dont get ahead of themselves and think they got this gen in the bag. I would like for them to push boundaries, if some of these negativity is hate, then it wouldnt matter because whatever project Sony does that is good will still sell and be well recieved. 

PS4 gets the least flak, its just that Wii U and Xbone has been getting their act together and therefore the hate for them is slowly fading.
With less Wii U and Xbone hate online its easier to see the PS4 hate.

It's nothing new.People were hating on Sony before the internet age.Mostly jealous Nintendo fans and now MS fans who are pissed that Sony is back on top.I remember Xbox fans bashing Blu Ray and then praising the X1 for having it.Xbox fans also used to call FF gay, MGS a movie and GTA overrated,but love them now they are on Xbox.

PS4 fans are being so defensive these days...

This thread is a lesson into the law of bias which states that everyone has a bias. Sony fans see the PS4 getting a certain of hate and this makes them think that its getting a lot of hate. However, looking objectively its a lot less hate than Xbox is getting or the Nintendo is getting at the moment. You can apply this to almost any area where to things coexist or where two people can take a side on anything.

as for your points:

1.I do find that Sony exclusives are better than people would lead you to believe. I had a PS3 for 18 months now and I collected a lot of Sony first games and can said they are higher quality then I first thought.

2. PSNow gets hate for the pricing model mostly and I think people have a legit point there.

3.Again, depending on your bias it could be anyone of those three that gets the most hate. I will agree about Morpheus getting more hate the oculus rift.
