I remember just a few years ago (3 years or so) when people got upset whenever a single player only game got a multiplayer mode (Like Bioshock, GoW). Now that a single player game doesn't have MP, people are upset about that too. Hypocrites.

You're losing love" for third person shooters, I can dig that. Doesn't mean the game-play is "meh", though. |
Should have clarified that it looks "meh" to me, but not because it is the game's fault!
I've been following this game from the initial reveal and I can't wait. I hope Sony does some sort of bundle with it. I think it looks fantastic and the gameplay looks like a lot of fun. I'm not sure where all the hate is coming from for TPS lately. I mean first there were people bashing Quantum Break, which also looks great, and now this game. I can safely say this is my most anticipated game on any console period. I think 2015 is going to be stacked. I'm glad this releases in February.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

In fairness, without playing The Order, we can't say what they haven't tried/done different. The story looks interesting and the smoothness of the movement is enough to warrant a playthrough for me. Every game can't, and won't, reinvent the wheel and no such expectation should be placed. |
yeah I mean Django Unchained, Gladiator, Spiderman 2, Xmen 2, and many more of my favorite movies didn't really do anything new they just told very well-crafted stories and all the aspects were done well. Why can't people accept that type of game? If I like the genre and the game is well done in that genre I'm interested. In the end you ARE getting a different experience because you're playing through different encounters than you did in other games and experiencing a new story even if there aren't any mindblowing gameplay enhancements. That's why I've got the CE pre-ordered because it looks to have incredible production values and a great setting and weaponry.
