Indeed, some people seem to be blind to the games that are in dev and are coming out... not sure why.

From September its starting to go crazy and the next 6-8 months... what a ride :)

We still don't know what other games Sony Studios are working on and when they will come out. I'm sure there will be more remasters, but who cares.

PS3 had the brand new blu-ray, free online, was on par with the most high-end PC at launch. Tablet, personal computer and smartphone gaming is also getting bigger. Also I think Steam Machine/Box will be huge.

Unless the SteamBox is around the same price, it aint going to do anything, and even so I think it wont do that well.

PS4 is currently kicking PS3's sales, so based on that fact, at the moment no other conclusion can be made.
