EA Access, is it good for gaming or is it bad?
The truth is we just don't know. But this isn't what this thread is about. One of the main points people have in favor of EA Access is that it give gamers choice.
So this brings me to The Last of Us: Remastered. Why the hate? Doesn't this also give gamers "choice".
I do not understand where the hate is coming from. People are not forced to buy it and if this does become a trend and we see hundreds of remastered games, I welcome it. Why? Because I, and many other gamers, would like to play games they didn't have the chance to play first time around or play their favourite games with updated visuals and played on a far superior controller.
It's not like every game will be remastered, they won't. Just the best from generations gone by. Flops will not make financial sense to be remastered.
It would be a great source of income for the developer where they actually deserve it and help fund future projects. As opposed to the worrying rise in Micro-Transactions which are the bain of gaming.
So the point is, this is true choice for gamers. There is no hidden agenda. You pay to play a game, doens't matter if it's remastered or not. So if you truly believe in "choice" for the gamer then you shouldn't be against remasters.
This is to encourage debate so please refrain from turning this into X1 vrs PS4 thread. Remember, remasters are coming to both consoles.
