No. In my opinion, the controls and mechanics on RE6 were perfect (especially finally being able to shoot and move), the game itself just wasn't scary or very horror like at all.

Tank controls were abyssal and I hope we never go back to them.

 i think the controls in moderns resident evils are pretty shit.

i cant stand those games seriously. using a knife or other melee weapon is an abomination

Well, we agree to disagree then. I thought they were fast paced and responsive. The sliding, dashing and shooting were perfect. I had already accepted that RE was becoming more of an action flick, I don't dwell on past games or nostalgia. I enjoyed the games for what they were (RE5 and RE6 specially)

Also, melee felt satisfying as fuck, just to really beat the piss out of those...things, i don't even know what they were.

Did we play different games? I am asking because playing Resi 6 was an awkward experience! :-/

I've played my fair share of Resident Evil games. And just like with Silent Hill, I've liked every single entry on the franchise :P

Haha, I don't think so. I am pretty forgiving to the RE franchise, i'll admit that. Still, i played the entire campaign with my bro so for us, working together, the controls were spot on. RE6 felt natural to me. Took a bit to get use to first, but then it went pretty smooth.

EDIT: I've played almost all resident evils (except for the remake on gamecube and zero) and RE6 is up there with RE4. It was short on survival but it was still an enjoyable adventure from start to finish. My only real gripe is the throw away characters chris and leon get in their campaigns.

The game is easy ( even easier than Resi 5), the controls don't feel very natural, the camera is annoying, it's not scary and it's boring...

but it has puzzles.

come on dude is so simple to define survivel horror

survive=fight for ur life

horror= spooky things

thats it there is no science

...yet in many survival horror games you cannot fight at all.  In no survival horror game is fighting the main focus of gameplay.

fight for your life doesnt mean get physical. did u watch gravity?
