madden 15 bundle will be the first small bump end of august

than we will see destiny

after that horizon 2 end of september

october will have plenty of games

november cod and halo

 

 

after the titanfall stream fade away, there was nothing to compensate.

Just goes to show that MK8 did manage to move some systems and to prevent the WiiU from going back to 30k..


I dont think it was mario kart alone. I think they also had a great E3 and people got hopefull for nintendo again. MS did show mostly cg trailers for games not even coming out this year, or the next. I belive this was a major factor because also since E3 the x1 has droped to sub 60k aside from launch week of the $400 sku. I belive 2 bad E3's in a row will kill their holliday sales and that good one to boost the wii us holliday.

OK! Maybe it wasn't JUST Mario Kart 8, but that was the main reason why the WiiU started doing well!

When you look at amazon US best seller, you don't see any bump for xbone with Destiny. Destiny sells, but the xbone doen't seem to gain some sells thanks to it. Probably because of PS4's domination and PS4's Destiny bundle.

Latest vgc shows 36k USA, and that's normally overtracked compared to NPD. So it may be 30k/week now in USA lol.

Thats asuming may was the baseline but in may everybody stop buying cuz a cheaper model got anounced for next month, so the real baseline was april when it was selling better that now or the same.

Well not really, there was absolutely no boost compared to the baseline before the price cut announcement , so the price cut was pretty much... useless... for the moment, maybe it would have been even worse and the price cut saved it from that ?
