Yes it was, but its a 1 out of 4 choice in the US, and 1 out of 10 in Europe (Japan didnt get the deal). Also like i've previously mentioned, WW HD was #1 best seller way before MK8 debut, It was 132k+ before MK8 released. That game as well as NSLU have sold extremely well digitally, NSLU more cuz it was released 2 months before retail as DLC. (and its only $20).

You'll have to wait for NPD for digital sales on TLoU Remaster. They'll give us it like they do most huge debut games

You could pick two games, right? So really a 50% chance in the US and 20% in Europe. Actually more than that since, come on, it's Zelda...

I don't remember NPD giving much about digital sales. It's always been Nintendo themselves.

Leaving the Xbox One behind? It's not even 10k more than the Xbox One, yeah it is doing better than it but it's not by a significant amount.

PS3 cost double its competition, X1 cost 100 more and included the camera aka not the same.   Pr issues are worlds apart, MS tried to change the industry and control everything taking away consumer rights. Shit like that is never forgotten, sony was just stupid. 

How does it not, given its low sales and failures of promotions and cuts you project low sales further on with expected bumps here and there.  Which is why most can guesstamate sub 20m sales for wiiu.  Theres only so much that can be done, and MS has thrown everything at the issue but gears and halo.

Maybe. I would think that the Xbox One would pick up for the holiday shopping season though. It might keep pace enough to keep the ps4 from stretching it to 50%.  Unless the ps4 just blows the roof off the holidays. That could definitely happen as well.

global numbers:

PS4 = 181,841
WiiU + Wii + Xbox One + Xbox 360 = 150,984

PS4 sold 30,857 more globally, this week, than the WiiU, Wii, Xbox One and Xbox 360 combined.

Just Europe:

PS4 = 84,038
WiiU + Wii + Xbox One + Xbox 360 = 46,811

PS4 sold 37,227 more in europe, this week, than the WiiU, Wii, Xbox One and Xbox 360 combined.

Just US:

PS4 = 72882
WiiU + Wii + Xbox One + Xbox 360 = 79613

PS4 sold just 6731 less in the US, this week, than the WiiU, Wii, Xbox One and Xbox 360 combined.


Oh I thought it was 3DS, not 360...

It's not like 45 million is an amazing number, so I think the X1 will reach that with Halo, all the 3rd party games, etc...

However, the PS3 had Europe and Japan to fall back on to make a comeback. The X1 does not. The only country where the X1 can fall back is the US and it's getting beat pretty handily there, too. Outside of the anglosphere, it's pretty much dead...

Add to that the 360 had a year head start, better multiplats, and better online wich were the advantages the 360 had, now the ps4 even took thouse advantages away. So they have nothing to fight back with. In no way is it the same.
