Looks awful but don't take that to heart, I hate indie games.
I wouldn't have posted such early footage on the internet at all. Take your time with it and ONLY post this kind of stuff on DEDICATED game development forums / threads, that way like minded people will have access to such early footage, not idiots like me calling the game shit when its clearly long way away from release.

Which cheap video editting tool would you suggest? I'm using YouCam 5 to take my screen captures, but it can't merge clips from different videos like I need it to. I'm using Conitec's 3D gamestudio http://www.3dgamestudio.com/.

I certainly wouldn't suggest it unless you have prior experience, but I use Blender for my free video editing.
If you have a mac then Final Cut Pro is fantastic, but it can cost a lot.
Never heard of 3D gamestudio before, so I can't really help you there. Glad to see you didn't build your own though. It can be fun to re-invent the wheel, but it usually gets in the way of actually finishing the game.

My brother is still learning to use Blender for modelling, but I'll ask him to youtube tutorials on how to use it for video editting. Thanks for the tip. I realized that the software I used to overwrite the audio (I didn't want to use one of the songs provided by YouTube's video editor) compressed my video even more than YouTube did
