Moving on, congrats! Welcome to the indie club. What engine are you using?

Which cheap video editting tool would you suggest? I'm using YouCam 5 to take my screen captures, but it can't merge clips from different videos like I need it to. I'm using Conitec's 3D gamestudio http://www.3dgamestudio.com/.

I certainly wouldn't suggest it unless you have prior experience, but I use Blender for my free video editing.

If you have a mac then Final Cut Pro is fantastic, but it can cost a lot.

 

Never heard of 3D gamestudio before, so I can't really help you there. Glad to see you didn't build your own though. It can be fun to re-invent the wheel, but it usually gets in the way of actually finishing the game.
