They had 12 million at one point. That was in Wrath I believe.

I get happier whenever I hear that this shit loses subs, I hope WoW continues losing subs little by little from now on(even if the next expansion experiences a growth of subs, I expect an even bigger loss later).

I don't get how it can still be so successful considering how many great Free-to-Play MMO's there are nowadays. Plus every single person I know that used to play WoW stopped a couple of years ago. None of my friends even talk about it apart from a guy who was considering selling his character, since he was fully leveled up.

Anyway. Good for Blizzard.

As an investor in Activision, I was pleasantly surprised with their results. Stock price is up over 4% in after hours trading.

Why all the WoW hate?

It's pretty impressive that ActiBliz has two of the most successful franchises in the history of gaming; CoD and WoW. Those games have made TONS of money over the years

lets not forget 20 million D3 sales plus did anyone notice that they mentioned dollar value only in their rankings that way   it makes it look like there is no GTA5.

The game has also changed a lot over the years.  And some are not very happy with those changes and voice thier opinion even though they stopped playing YEARS ago.  We get it all the time on the WoW forums, from people who haven't played for over +5 years still complaining about everything.
