Thats not true, at one point or another all these MMOs i listed had over 1 million subs, and WoW started with less tha that so they had a pretty solid foothold to build upon but failled. FF XiV still ahs over 1 million nowadays, its a very sucessfull MMO but it seens it wont manage to hit WoW levels.
