Eh, you really can't gather that from Famitsu scores, for comparison they gave Dynasty Warriors 8 the same score

Two reviewers gave this game an 8.  I find that interesting on many levels.

Zelda looks so kawai on that picture! Desu desu! Moshi moshi! <3

A 36 from Famitsu is like a 50 from western reviewers

Nice!

Hopefully this proves to be an above-average Warriors game.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

I still have my doubts, but it's too close to Smash in any case.

It's profile has been steadily rising for me, however. A firm "maybe" at the very least.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I'll never understand Famitsu's review system.

I don't like it when people give up before even trying. It's simple as chips:

- In exactly the same way IGN/Eurogamer/etc. give a score out of 10, Famitsu gives a score out of 10

- Except there are FOUR reviewers for each game, hence FOUR scores of 10

- 4 x 10 = 40, which is Famitsu's total for each game.

Really not so hard.

Unfortunately Famitsu's scores have dropped as sharply in significance as the Japanese videogame market. Back in the 90s and early 2000s they were very strict - unfortunately this has changed a lot (see Resident Evil 6 review, which is mentioned above).

70 - 79'ish metascore in my opinion

Obviously I'm not mentioning the numbers per se, but the fact that they'd rather have four people playing the game for like one hour before making judgment than leaving one guy to have a full-fleshed opinion of the game.
