Stories are MOSTLY for chore genres(ie:RPG) as an excuse to make you run errands and movie wanna be games.
COD iterations are interactive mediums (games) first and foremost. Additionally, BLOPS 2, had one of the most interesting stories in the video game industry as it mixed real world facts (US involvement in Angolan Civil War) with futuristic Sci-Fi story telling.
That's for whoever is interested in world politics or knew about that conflict.
COD doesn't sell dozens of millions every year because its a gimmick. It's competitive, it has almost perfect game mechanic and it's fun for hudreds of hours.

Would be sad if third party multiplatform games would actually be excellent games but since thats not the case 99% of the time one could argue that nothing of value has been lost.
But tbh ResidentEvil HD remake not coming to WiiU is literally fail. I prefer games like Dragons Dogma but its still fail that a Resident Evil game is not coming to WiiU even tho its on last gen and Resi games actually do pretty well on Nintendo.

I'm glad; Nintendo's at their best when they're cornered.

Let Capcom diddly waddlin. MS already secured an exclusive Chinese game made by ex-Epic China, that resembles MH.
No.. But it's safe to say that many 3. party will start to come back when WiiU userbase go over 10 mill. this cristmas.. heck.. i bet before cristmas 2015 even EA is back..
(we saw this with Wii to.. they just can't turn down +1 mill sales)
Regarding Resident evil remake, ive just played it on my Wii U, i have the Wii version..all hail backward compatibility :P

I agree with this statement... However, as for everybody else predicting doom and gloom over AAA 3rd parties, people are neglecting to realize one thing... AAA 3rd party developers are dying, and they are dying at a rapid pace.
It isn't that the Wii U has no AAA 3rd party support. It's that Nintendo is no longer concerned with AAA 3rd parties. Sony is following this same trend. Only Microsoft appears to be going for these AAA developers. Nowadays, both Nintendo and Sony are focused on the indie market.
The fact to the matter is that the video game industry is changing. It can no longer support big budget, hollywood style, blockbuster, AAA 3rd party games. Look at last generation. Over 130 3rd party developers went belly up. This generation is seeing a rapid increase of these same third parties disappearing. As budgets begin to balloon, more companies either go completely out of business, bought out and etc. Or, they produce the same games over and over again - afraid to innovate for the fear of producing a flop and going completely under.
Once again, AAA developers are dying. It isn't that the Wii U is losing support. Rather, it's that there are fewer and fewer AAA third parties to create any game for any system whatsoever. Look at Japan. It used to be a haven of AAA 3rd party developers. Now look at it. There's hardly any more of them around. Now western 3rd parties are feeling the same sting. It's only going to be a matter of time until there's just a handful of these AAA 3rd party developers. By this time, the indie scene will be the everyday scene.

So you want me to mention a game that you should be interested in? Well seeing as others have already named few I guess I don't have to do that. Not that I would have anyway since it has nothing to do with what I asked you lol. But I asked if you truly thought that MOST AAA 3rd party games would only be FPS games? Because that is what you stated and it is false. Whether you are interested in them or not is irrelevant and as I said is fine because to each his or her own. But let's not just make a 100% false statement just because.....
The absence of evidence is NOT the evidence of absence...

its a good casual shooter, nothing more, the gameplay mechanics arnt close to perfect and its not competetive, its not a E-sport its just a funny easy shooter for kids and dudebros. that totaly okay, nothing bad about that, just dont try to make it bigger than it is, its the transformers of gaming.
