I think critics give deliberately lower scores at the beginning of a new generation so they have some headroom later.

For remakes that scored extremely well last generation they don't really have an excuse to score it lower especially when it includes more content.

If only the weather update was included at release, then maybe it could it... I can't even type that with a straight face

I'm moch more confident in Driveclubs quality than I was a couple months ago, but 90+ is impossible.
