Back early, and just in time to see Wright's suicide. Sorry dude.

I'm going to write down a few scenarios, and I want you guys' opinions on the assumptions and conclusions.

It'll be a while, so while I write I want to ask a few questions and reexamine some things, to make sure we're on the same page. I'd really love more than one reply.

1. Do we believe padib is confirmed town? I know nothing can be confirmed, but you know what I mean. Could someone please explain why they think he is? I just want to here someone else's thoughts besides my own.

2. Same thing with outlawauron, but to a lesser degree. We think he's town because of his reaction, but he didn't bother to leave a will like every other person who was about to die (or at least thought they were).

3. Based on the games I looked at, and the number of players in this game (15), I think we have four mafia. However, in narrowing down my suspects, I only consistently get two (MrKhan and Trucks). The good thing about that is I'm almost certain they're scum, Trucks moreso than Khan. The bad news is the others are good at hiding. I do have some "maybes", but that can wait for later. Also, I don't have enough suspects for a multi-factioned game, so there's that.

4. Cone's claim. I want to give my thoughts and here others' ...Towny: 1. He's new and probably wouldn't have thought of such a lie (and make it look like a slip no less) on his own (no daytalk), especially with the risk of counter claim 2. His style seems consistent with his personality, reserved. Scummy: 1. Lack of participation 2. The possibility of a broken combo, though I think this can be mitigated with a strongman and/or roleblocker.

1. Not confirmed 100%, but as close to it as we have at the moment. Lynch-preventing scum is too much of a dick move.

2. "We" don't think he's town (or scum). I place little import on his reaction. If padib is town, then outlaw should not have any idea whether padib was bluffing or not. Not voting to lynch yourself isn't a town or scum move, in my opinion.

3. Seems a bit low to me: the usual rule is 1/3, as I recall, so I'd put it at 5 or 6 (depending on the number of scum factions, which I believe stands at two).

4. On the Town side, you forgot 3. No counterclaim, although that could be because there is a real doctor who doesn't want to die early...

On the Scum side, you forgot 3. Still alive despite outing self early 4. Lots of kill-stoppers (between 3-4 town players that we know of would have the power to stop a death in some form, assuming padib and rct are town and cone is honest) 5. Weird choice for a protection

3. Thief:
In support: RCT never explicitly said he was attacked.
Our abilities have come from our items so far.
Against: Nobody has claimed anything.
Conclusions: 1. We have a thief.
2. Only one attack last night = no SK. Poisoner still possible.
3. prof and RCTjunkie are definitely town.

Without saying anything more, I can confirm that not all abilities come from items.

I would also point out some faulty conclusions here, even if the entire portion was correct. 1) Serial Killers (and mafias) occasionally switch kill days. 2) rct being "bulletproof" would not confirm town-ness, nor could it be certain what faction this Thief is aligned with 3) We actually don't have any confirmation of prof's alignment at the moment,  since even if he was targeted last night (likely in light of the lack of counter-claims) we do not know whether another faction's attack was prevented by another player.

Ah, I see hylian stole some of my thunder.

Also, wouldn't a person know if they'd been bussed?

Not necessarily. In fact, I think they usually don't.

What I found most suspicious about him was that he pushed so hard to test Padib's claim. He seemed most vocal in getting him to waste his one shot.

If you're going to use that as your primary basis, then you'd have to include about half the players, myself included. Also, don't forget that padib didn't reveal that one-time part until the 11th and a half hour, by which time his story had changed a half dozen times. I don't even remember if Truck was around when the reveal was made, either.

Now, one more things about Day-Talk, I'm still considering that this game doesn't have Day-Talk mainly because Day-Talk for Mafia was introduced way after Words of Wisdom's time hosting/playing Mafia so it's not something I expect him to include in his game.

Not exactly strong evidence though. I'm inclined to doubt there's mafia daytalk in this game simply because there usually isn't, but aside from the maifa it/themselves I doubt we'll really know for sure until the game ends.

Because im ready to go.
honestly not looking forward to another day of debating my alignment with padib and padiber

Unvote

Taking this off for now

So who is the next best target, then?

Khan still seems suspicious, but Wright clearly thought it was worth trying by using his power on him. Then we have WhiteEagle; who has been completely inactive. Still not sold on Trucks and Smeags, and, well, most people as well, but honestly, I can't decide so I'm not gonna push for anyone just yet.

Heh, you're so used to living a day that you burn yourself out by day 2?

Hmm, that's a shame

Mafia will probably not lynch you now so you have to keep arguing your point anyway

I guess now is a good time to bring up a post of Mr Khan's that bugged me before but that I kinda forgot to bring forward.

I don't really have a problem with the people listed as potential scum but I found it weird that Mr Khan, the self-professed total noob doesn't even question the number of Mafia in the game. I see it as a possible slip from him.

I do include half the players including you. As I said before I found it very suspicious that everyone who did push for it did. I havn't been watching trucks as closely as others so I don't discount the possibility I missed something. However that was really the only thing I saw that I thought was suspicious from trucks. It's not close to being vote worthy imo, so I said if a case could be made with things that I missed and might be substantial then I would consider it.

All Hail the Jester King. The King is back, and I am still a dirty girl prof ;)

Officer Erin never really understood the evening gatherings of people.  If every gathering ended in one of the gatherers being lynched or otherwise life impaired then wouldn't someone be better off simply not going?  After several hours of searching the streets, she finally found the crowd of people.  The skies had become dark and more ominous while the sound of thunder preceded the rain that was just starting to fall.

As Officer Erin pulled up to the gathering, she got out of her squad car only to marvel as it simply vanished.  The meaning of the ghostly 1 that had been floating above it was starting to become clearer to her.  Her musings were interrupted by the sound of thunder and screaming.  She quickly turned and ran toward the commotion only to reflexively raise a hand to her own mouth to keep her from gagging at the sight.

A woman, a dancer by the looks of the charred clothing, had been posing for a selfie when a bolt of lightning came down from the sky to strike her.  The mob was horrified.  Some screamed, some ran for cover, and others wished for their fallen friend to find peace in whatever world lays beyond their own.  The group dispsersed shortly thereafter.  Officer Erin calmly called for the appropriate people to come pickup the remains.  The ghostly numbers attached to her phone continued their countdown.

Tethys ( Wright ) has been mod-killed.

Night 2 Begin.

No more posting.  People with night actions please begin sending them in.

Notes:

Is Wright a bad person?
> No.  He just broke a rule.  He's still awesome and no one should be upset with him beyond inconveniencing his team.

Why does the day end with mod-kill?
> The faction that breaks the rules must be the most inconvenienced by the infraction.  Wright being town means that his team loses their lynch for the day.

I have more questions that are not in this list, what should I do?
> PM me.
