Given rental pricing for the only thing somewhat comparable (movies) the pricing is actually quite fair, some really good. You all just want to whine and compalin about it for other reasons.
By the way there is no set pricing yet, you do know its a beta thus the prices range is huge. Some are out right steals others rip offs. So there is no sony allowing anything or publishers fault, its in freakign BETA.
Sony is not worried about Ea access, they clealry care little about it and already made their views on it known.

Ya know, people said the exact same thing when Netflix and Hulu took off. They saw it as the death of movie ownership.
Well, fast forward to today, and you can still buy all your movies and TV shows on Blu-Ray or digitally, Netflix is completely optional.
And EA isn't giving something for nothing. They are giving something for $30.
You're Gonna Carry That Weight.
Xbox One - PS4 - Wii U - PC
One thing everyone should learn is that the TOS are Always terrible for consumers since they aim to protect the Company in all cases.

I do think that it is a pretty good deal actually because it does not cost to much - but everyone should wait until more games are added into the EA Access program. You should get a WIi U or 3DS too though(or both if you have the money)... Both are great consoles that are totally worth your money for the awesome games it has! |
Sony turned down EA Access because they dont consider it to be a good deal for consumers. EA still wants them to use their service, but until consumers demand it Sony wont do it. Microsoft doesn't think of consumers when they buy things, they just think the more they add the better the advantage. Sony thinks about how things will affect consumers, especially after last gen with consumer frustration.

Digital movie rental prices are ridiculous and that's why so many people pirate movies instead or rent from the Redbox.
Like I said before, $5 - $10 is an acceptable price for a monthly rental of a video game. Depending on the how old the game is, PS Store price, retail price, etc. I don't feel all prices on PS Now are a rip off.
Sony gave PR spin on EA Access, simple as that. I'd like to here their opinions on rentals that are more expensive than purchasing a physical copy or a PS Store download. How is that a good value for the Playstation gamer? Oh, its not but they offer it anyway.

This is a fine example of spin.
The reality is MS gave their consumers a deal EA offered and we see people genuinely interested.
Sony rejected it and told Playstation gamers what's good for them. But last I checked EA games sell pretty well on Playstation, perhaps some people would have liked the option.
When Sony decided to charge for online play, I don't think they cared how it would affect consumers. They just wanted the money.

I really like the spin: MS are the bad guys who gave Xbox owners more games for less money. Those bastards :). This is a good testament to how, for some people, companies like MS are "evil" and companies like Sony are "good" no matter what they do.

Its a beta, what about that can you not comprehand ??? there is no set pricing, whine about it when there is. For now its all a big test to sort pricing out.
And if to buy is cheaper, they just faking do that. Is that so hard to do ? if there is a cheaper option, then choose that.
If they offer you to buy it for less then they gave you an option, its up to you to make the apperantly hard choice which to get lmao.

I'm just glad when Sony does something anti consumer, their fans atleast back off a little.
Its nice to not hear complaints about MS charging for online play anymore.
