It didn't flop hard, but it didn't do very well. I expect a few hardcore Bayo fans will buy Wii U for Bayo 2, but that will likely be in the 10s of thousands. So it will sell a few systems, but it won't do anything to change Wii Us fortunes.

From flopping hard to not very well there is a gigantic valley... and I think it is closer to flopping since the only reason it got a sequel is a plat holder financing it...

Changed my mind, around 2M sold isn't a hard flop, maybe just couldn't break even... do you know how much they estimated the cost of production or break even point?

Craziest thing I see is that there's some Nintendo fans now saying Zelda U isn't a system seller, yet the same ones will use Bayonetta and Hyrule Warriors as an argument.
I really don't understand it much. Same thing with Splatoon and Captain Toad. They're far from system sellers.

Some times logic isn't necessary.

I think it has a chance of getting the core audience to the wii u. Not a lot of people, but maybe a few.
I know a lot of people who buy it because they loved the first game!

They were multiplat owners or they changed from X360/PS3 to WiiU?

I dont think many Bayonetta fans will buy the WiiU instead of PS4 or XB1, but some might get the WiiU as well.

I don't know how many real fans the game have... but those fans could buy WiiU for it... maybe like said before, around 10k people;

Well it depends on how many of the people who played it loved it enough to get a WiiU. Could be alot. Im not expecting a ridiculous boost, but it could see a boost around launch.

It will definitely a test of how big its cult following actually is or if it is just another internet child of pretenders.

I don't expect much.

It could give a 1-2 week boost but definately isnt moving massive amounts of hardware, it does help fill out the lineup and is a solid support title to the bigger games.

I expect really small boost.

I would put more weight on internet childs... if the game were so big and people put their money were their mouth is then the game would have sold a lot more from the start.

Yep, it is a solid game and will sell decent for userbase (maybe 500k?), but shouldn't be in list wars.
