2) Uhh...  No. Just like Zone of Enders was just a basic HD port. Same with Soul Caliber II HD. A port is a port. Doesn't matter what architecture the game is ported from.

3) My point is that people were under the misconception that the PS4 would bring about a generational leap in power. This is what Sony advertised. Gamers are not getting that.

4) http://www.ign.com/boards/threads/how-much-time-will-sony-give-to-indies-at-e3.454025195/

5) World of Warcraft, Starcraft, Dota 2, League of Legends, etc. I can go on and on and on and on.

- The Last of US: Remastered while technically a port was much more complex then actually just simply porting a game from one system to another...

http://www.edge-online.com/features/the-last-of-it-naughty-dog-on-bringing-the-last-of-us-to-ps4/

- The only people under the misconception are idiots! Fact is we are not a year into this gen and it will take time like every generation before it... why people think this generation would be different is beyond me.

- Again only a small segment, I am happy to have this indie support! I mean when the XB360 had it, it was the greatest thing... now that they don't you get the who cares about indie support attitude. I have a PS4 and I say to the flood of indie's.. Flood away!!! More games for me to play while the XB1 users out there are starving for ANYTHING to play. We have had more true exclusives drop this year (games soley on console and not on the PC as well) and some fantastic multi platform games that we get the better versions of either in the looks depo or exclusive content. I love the Indie support. The last thing you should go on are people over at IGN, that thread hardly translates into what PS4 users think. One thread does not speak for everyone.

- I agree with you on this point. I mean if I was a PC only gamer I would be more pissed about missing the exclusives that will never see PC release like PS4 exclusives... Most of the XB1 exclusives I have interest in are either on PC or heading in that direction so I have absolutely no desire to get a XB1.  I have spoken to many console gamers and many would love to play Starcraft 2, WoW, Dota or League of legends (though one of the last two are rumored to be seeing console releases) However RTS games like Starcraft just suck if your not playing with keyboard and mouse.

1) Well, actually, I'd argue and say it's a simple port with free DLC. Not much else was done to it outside of making it presentable in HD.

2) You can't blame them. The jump from the Xbox to the Xbox 360 was very noticable. It's not totally unreasonable to expect the same for this generation.

3) I doubt this. This mentality seems to reflect in the sales of such indie titles on the PS4.

4) I got in trouble of listing a long list of PC exclusives. Some people on this thread seem to believe that only Sony exclusives are ever worth their time.

2.  oh yes.. every ps4 & x1 console should of came with 12 gb of Gddr5 ram with titan cards.. because that's so console next gen.  #cluelessgamer #howshitworks

3.  what do you know of indie sales?  nada.. just what i expected from someone who likes to use vague responses. #doh

4.  no.. you are the only one who thinks anyone is comparing pc vs ps4 exclusives.. that's all you.  it's rubbish to think those who own consoles don't likely own pcs.  those who game exclusively on pcs though miss out on console exclusives.. get it?  good.  there's a reason why console gaming and pc gaming attracts different gaming demographs..  #durrh

The problem with your list is that:

1) A lot of those games haven't come out yet and are "projected" to be 60 fps. That could mean anything, really.

2) There are a few indie titles in there (including one that's on the Wii U - yet its marked exclusive even though it was on the Wii U first... Odd)

3) Many of those games run "up to" 60 fps. For example, Murdered: Soul Suspect runs up to 60, but often times drops to 30 fps (especially in cut scenes). Another example is Killzone, which was found out to not run at 1080p at all. And yet another example with Tomb Raider. Look. Unlocked FPS doesn't automatically mean 60 fps. And yet another example would be Thief. That game dips to the single digits. The game is downright unplayable on the PS4. Heck, DigitalFoundry found the Xbone version to be superior because it has a smoother frame rate. Sacrificing resolution for frame rate is always a bad idea. A lot of PS4 games do that just to say they're 1080p. This isn't what next gen looks like.

Serious, if this is your idea of next-gen, then you'll be surprised once you start gaming on a PC. Heck, on my PC, Tomb Raider (with the fps unlocked) jumps up to to over 100 fps.

ok smartie.. let's see your list of 720-900p ps4 games that are out.. i betcha there's only you have 3....

seriously.. get a clue.  i have a pc too.. but guess what my pc can't do?  play playstation exclusives.. end story.

Alright. So, most of the games are in 1080p. To say "sub HD" was miswording my part. I'm sorry. That wasn't what I was trying to argue here. What I'm arguing is 1080p AND 60fps. Which is what we were promised. Many of these games are at 1080p while sacrificing frame rate just for the sake of saying, "Yay! 1080p!".

You keep bringing up Playstation exclusives like that's suppose to mean something to PC owners. It doesn't. The PC has far more quality exclusives than any Sony console.  Seriously, even Nintendo has far more quality exclusives than Sony. So, you can kinda stop the whole "exclusive" thing, because it's sounding a bit silly at this point.

Ok. Now this is getting a bit entertaining.

2) Dunno what point you're trying to make here... But ok...

3) Oh. Please educate me then, please? How well are indie titles selling on the PS4, hmm?

4) Uhh... But you were just bragging about how the PC doesn't have access to Sony exclusives...Now, somehow, I'm the only one comparing PC and PS4 exclusives?

Btw, not everyone owns a gaming PC to play the games we're talking about here. But, that's pretty obvious, right?

Your second point is nothing but an Opinion...I care way more for Sony exclusives than Nintendo exclusives....that is MY opnion and preference.

You are very insufferable. You keep jumping from one point to another when your last point is being debunked. I understand you dont like Sony but at least come with some strong points instead of posting lies and stating your opinions as facts...

I just admitted I was wrong about the 1080p thing. I can be reasoned with.

My points haven't changed, but I'm sure you haven't been following the conversation.

I have been following the conversation and have noticed you hopping from one point to another. This isnt the first time you and I argued about this. Like I said you keep stating opinions as facts. Not everyone values Sony exclusives more than Nintendo or vice visa. About the frame per sec issue; Sony never came out to say ALL thier games are LOCKED at 60 fps. most of them are CONSISTENT at 60 and at the very most drops to 45Fps when thier is a lot going on on screen (this is still the first year of this gen). There is no Xbox one game right now that is CONSISTENTLY 60fps even Titanfall dropped framerates sometimes (rarely) to around 55 or 50 (even though the resolution is 792p) and it has the best framerates next gen. SO should All 60pfs  games on Xbox not identify as this because they are not locked on 60fps?

Everyone knows PC  native resolution and framerates are the best but PC dont have Xbox exclusives (maybe some of them) and it MIGHT never have PS4 exclusives neither Nintendo exclusives. That is why I own a PS4 because I love thier exclusives which would never be on a PC.

1) I wasn't the one who brought up the whole exclusives thing in the first place. I've only mentioned Nintendo once. The whole conversation was about PS4 vs. PC. You didn't follow a single thing.

2) I never argued this. Frames per second was just one point out of many from a list of 1080p PS4 games. Go back and read the convo.

3) Good for you.

He can't be reasoned with.. He forgets he is the one who went off tangent generalizing the majority with a minority opinion (especially with such a weak 2 page ign thread) and making PC vs ps4 comparisons.. Then he has the audacity arguing semantics when the ps4 is the most capable next gen console currently available while assuming somehow console gamers are envious of RTS, MOBAs, and MMOs... All starting with an argument about TLOUR being anti consumerism, ps4 owners being disappointed with and influx of indies and even more disappointed in less emphasis of AAA on a gen cycle less than a year in..

Like you said.. Hopping from one thing to another grasping every straw man argument under the sun hoping his argument and overgeneralization makes any sense.. Yup.. Makes sense alrighty.. Lol.

- That's the thing though it's NOT just a simple port, a lot of work went into it... if you actually saw the article you would see that, but I suppose your going to see what you want to see.

 - So how is the jump from 360 to X1? We seen a HUGE leap in computing power about around the same time the PS3 and X360 came out though man... I mean PC's were just switching over to dual cores that was a pretty big shift. We have seen advancements sure, but computing hardware has more legs than it once did. I remember buying my first PC back in '94 and litterally was out of date 5 months later, I could not run the latest and greatest games.  I sold a PC I built in '09 and it still plays the latest games sure not at max settings but it least it can. You have to take stuff like this into account... Thinking it's as cut and dry as you say it is does not make it so. I Notice a difference in PS4 games, Infamous looks fantastic! No way could that have been done exactly like that on a PS3! TLoU also looks MUCH better then the PS3 version and that looked fantastic to begin with! There is a difference, but it takes time to learn the hardware.  Nobody has patience anymore! You have this very vocal minority making it sound like EVERYONE has this opinion but that is not the case.

- You will rarley see people that like something say anything, if people don't like something they will piss and moan this gives off an illousion that everyone has the opinion of the people that piss and moan. This again is NOT the case. Software is moving a hell of a lot better on the PS4 then it is on the XB1, people can't be to unhappy.  It's great having a PS4 and to have all these indies to pick from while we wait for AAA games. We really don't have a droubt on the PS4 as we always have something good to play.

- Sony has the better first party games (compared to MS) IMO! It saved there ass when the PS3 was sputtering out of the gates and lost exclusive's right left and centre! They have STRONG first party support and the fact that you can't get them anywhere but a Sony console makes the console just that more attractive. It's hard to not see that as they are killing MS right now in both hardware sales and software sales.  Again if MS was able to actually retain there exclusives I probably would have a XB1 right now, but as many are going to PC I don't have enough sofware to justify a purchase of the X1. Again I am sure I am not the only one.
