Quite terrible PS4. Why were the japanese devs so late to developing on next gen consoles? We got big new games from Acti, Ubi, EA, and 1st party, but none from Japanese devs.

Their market is on handheld where it's been for a good while.

They're quite inward looking, so for the most part look past the potential non Japanese sales. But if you were a Japanese developer, wouldn't you want to make a game that appears to your own country first and foremost too?
