Forums - Gaming - Wii U VS XBOX ONE consideration...

Just wait till XB1 gets Japan!

But realistically, XB1 will dominate during holidays possibly beating the PS4, about at 40% chance.

lol the gif.

But seriously, September will be a nice boost to XB1. Not sure by how much but it'll be nice. Also Destiny......while practically a PS4 exclusive, will boost X1 sales to a smaller degree.

Also isn't WiiU like $250 compared to $399?

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

After Destiny hits there will be a steady stream of games (NHL, Madden, Fifa, Forza, Middle-Earth etc.) and we have the release off the system in remaining territories. So starting september Xbox One will likely move up to a baseline of 70k-80k and higher for the rest of the year, meanwhile Wii-U will drop off to 40k-ish till the holdiays.(in wich it will sell considerably lower than Xbox One, expect maybe SSB launch week).

You had such a "reasonable" argument until the bolded part. You have provided no justification for it - indeed, given that the Wii U has held a pretty strong baseline without a single notable release after MK8 (while Xbox One got a price cut and a number of notable releases), it's a bit strange to predict that, when it starts getting more games, the baseline will drop.

Of course, even that part was just a parrotting of your original claim, rather than a response to what I said. I'd be interested to hear some actual argument put forward against what I said.

Yeah, but is funny that 3 month ago the people have sais "Wii U DoOooOooOm" and now sell more that XBOX ONE.

Yeah, on september XOne will sell more, even on October, but on November the challenge will be interesting, and on December Wii U will win.

I don't think WiiU will win December. MS always understood how to sell their systems until the end of the year, with ridiculous prices and bundles to move hardware. Not sure if they will do so this year but if WiiU has to watch to keep it at a distance as it could happen that Xbone will close the gap very fast.

On December the Nintendo console have one boost higher than the other console, and if NOW Wii U sell more, on December i don't think that XBOX ONE will sell more.

And this year, XBOX ONE has already done on price drop, WiiU can still do it.

The x1 can realease all the games it can and realease in all the territorries it can, but as long as the ps4 is still in all thouse territories and has all thouse games but still supirior at the same cost, the x1 will still be irrelevant and we will see this this september when the boost will be minimal.

Yes, that's a good example of context-free posting.

So only one price-drop allowed per year? Hahaha. And also it didn't have a price drop. Only kinect got removed. So Xbone can still do it.
