Forums - Microsoft - EA Announces Subscription Service On Xbox One: EA Access

Just edited in the Amazon link I used for the prices, I assume they are pretty good though.

As for DLC, probably not for Battlefield, it would be way too good of a deal to include DLC, but that isn't an issue for the sports games, they don't get DLC

You can still buy points(or whatever theyre called) in Fifa to build your team though. So its more like the games become free-to-play with micro transactions after a year.

So first of all you need to rent a place take 500$ a month or 6.000$ a year,
Then you need to eat 400$ a month or 4800$ a year
You need to get electricity lets say 50$ a month or 600$ a year
Also need internet connection for 30$ a month or 360$ a year
Then you need to get a Tv that cost 500 $ and a Xbox one 400$

And then you have to pay 30$ for the subscription

Or a whopping total of 12.690$ a year....

Yes bad deal is a bad deal

=p

Update: An EA representative tells us that the company has no plans on removing games from The Vault, which means the library of titles available will grow over time. Additionally, if your membership lapses, your progress will be saved should you decide to re-up later.

But it proves a point. If people are still playing FIFA 13 on last gen consoles this close to the release of 15 it's highly probably there will be plenty of people still playing 14 after 15 releases as well. Besides the Xbox One only has 5 million users so far, but that will surely pick up over the next few months leading up to xmas. This deal may even tempt people into getting an Xbox One as well.

When Fifa 15 releases you can probably get Fifa 14 for 10$ used. They are pretty much worthless after the next iteration comes out.

No need to pay 30$ a year to play 1 year old sports games.

Nope. Last gen FIFA 13, almost 2 years old now, is still worth at least $35.95 new or $23.37.

Lets also not forget this will be 4-5 different sports games as well, very good chance of it eventually being all of EAs sports games so that is 4 or 5 right there and then Battlefield as well.

So yeah that $30 for a year would be cheaper than buying just FIFA new and factoring in delivery and stuff could be cheaper than a used copy as well. But then there are the other games as well so...

LMAO I can get fifa 13 here for 5 bucks...Amazion is not the world. Sports games after a year usually drop below 10 or 5 bucks, always have here.

Anyone who thinks this is staying x1 exclusive is stupid..This will be on all platforms eventually. Terrible service anyway EA is mainly yearly sports titles, the rest are a couple decent franchises that release once every 3 years,

??? Sounds pretty crap, considering those older games can be bought on the cheap without being tied to X1 or EA's subscription.

DLC etc is not included, but I believe according to what I've read you will get 10% off.

Hey Flamingweasel... Still going I see.

EA must like losing out on most of it's sales by picking the losing horse this gen, might be the single dumbest Exclusive console thing I ever saw.

EA and MS = everything that is wrong with modern gaming.
