The whole video is pretty mcuh bulls**t, in fact your post proves this because a 750 ti performs comparable to a hd7850(ps4 gpu) in benchmarks. And a 750 ti does not do 60 fps in Crysis 3 with the highest settings:

So shouldn't a PS4 without the overhead of a PC be able to get 60 FPS 1080p without issue?

No it is in-engine. She didn't say ingame. She said in-engine rendered.  So quit calling it in-game. There is a difference.

Ok buddy

Wow, Carl is pretty fast! I didn't even get to see what Weazel posted!

Carl is pretty fast, but a certain someone is faster

Mod race to ban Weazels? Interesting....

Good luck Cone!

.

To be perfectly honest, I haven't seen anything much better looking, in regards to character models, than Drake's UC4 figure. Environments/detail/AA/AO/DoF can't be compared yet, but that trailer really did blow many of the PC's top lookers away.

Of course, I need to see some game-play, but then, after what I've seen from The Order: 1886, I'm not too concerned with the PS4's capabilities.

The problem is, Drake's Uncharted 4 model isn't close to what it will look like in-game. A big difference between a pre-release cutscene and actual gameplay.

PC has been doing next-gen visuals since Syrim came out with mods almost three years ago, and it will only get better and better. Imagine what the next Elder Scrolls game would look like with mods on PC? Much better than anything the current consoles have to offer, almost guaranteed.

Do you notice what's missing from those screenshots? People. Anytime you look at something with animations in Skyrim, any immersion gained from the mods is completely gone. I know that you can get borderline better lighting, textures etc on PC, I know I can because I spent 3x the amount that I did on my PS4, but it's about the overall package and that includes art design and (very importantly for me) animations

If you're talking directly about Uncharted 4, compare the reveal trailers for U2, U3 and the Last of Us to the actual released games. There ain't much difference

But anyway, it's very simple. There were some very impressive games graphically on PS3 and 360, now we have 6-7 year newer technology, games are going to look a lot better.

So far, it's working. Shadowfall looks incredible and inFamous Second Son the same. Star Citizen probably looks slightly better, but it's about 2 1/2 years away from actual release. In terms of graphics, Drive Club is what I'm looking to blow me away this winter and AC Unity amazing too, even if it's borlerline better on PC (Ubi are crap at PC releases). Destiny has already been spoken about....

I am yet to see graphical fidelity of this quality on any 'master race' hardware, not to mention this is running at 1080p and 60fps. If you tried to do this on a 400 or even a 600$ PC it would probably explode

as a game-developer i can only laugh at people who really believe UC4 is going to look like that.
sorry to disappoint you, but a game with such details in gameplay is next to impossible to produce. this has nothing to do with the power of the console (which it don´t have anyway), but much more with the cost involved to produce such a quality throughout the whole game. sorry to disappoint you all, but UC4 will probalby look like UC3 meets Infamous SS. Not better and not worse.

I'd take the word of an actual top-tier programmer of the game rather than some random guy on forums,no offence

Again, for people who say UC4 trailers wasnt in game:

the PS4 and Xbox 1 are nowhere near the 7xx / 7xxx series those are high end PC GPUs.

I'm talking about AMD hd7xxx cards here to be clear, otherwise that explains why you posted the video, you didn't do any reading. Ps4's gpu is a customized version of the HD7870, with two compute units turned off and a slightly lower clock speed. The result is a gpu that's actually a marginally faster than a HD 7850. The Xbox One is pretty much identical to an HD 7770.

OK, OK! Sorry for not giving you some props!

The above graph and games like TLoU, Uncharted 3, GOW 3, Killzone 3, GT6 (and their predecesors on the same console to see a progression) is all a smart person requires to realize that we are in for a long and constantly improving visual feast all through the lifetime of the PS4 (and Xbone too).

As the above benchmarks shows it takes a GTX Titan or GTX 780 ti to do (slightly higher then) Full HD at 60 fps with full detail. A GTX 780 ti costs about $700 alone so pretty clear why PS4 isn't doing 60 fps. You can definitely gain with optimisation but not that much.
