Pokemon=Multiplayer . Iike i said I played Pokemon for 700 hours. Finished the game in like 30 hours while playing multiplayer. So new multiplayer features are a must and i dont see that happening + single player was a piece of cake :(

Funnily enough, I love Pokemon, but have never played any multiplayer :P Anyways, what kind of multiplayer features could they add? From what I saw, X/Y seemed just about perfect

I played the first three generations without much multiplayer (never really did linked battles.) Pokemon for some people can mean multiplayer, but there is plenty to do besides that. I personally spent at least 40 hours on the original Ruby and Sapphire in contests, 10 hours catching legendaries, and 50 more finishing the pokedex. Did you get the heartgold/soulsilver remakes? If so, did you enjoy them? The answer to the second question should give you the answer to whether or not you should get this game.

I'm with you. I want to see more before I make a final judgment but for what I have seen, it's meh. Megas don't interest me and I really would rather not play another pitifully easy Pokemon game. For crying out loud put a Hero Mode in or something GF.

Do a Nuzlocke Challenge if you want more difficulty :P

Go Weepenbell! Weepenbell use Raz- oh you're KO'd already.  Okay, go Pidgeiotto! Pidge... oh, KO'd.

All jokes aside, I tried nuzlocke once and it turned into a grindy-unfun mess.  Though I do like Rattata now.

I missed a lot of Pokemon stuff...I've only played Blue, Yellow, White and X...

I would probably ignore the rule that you have to use the first pokemon you find in each zone...Permadeath is the important part of nuzlocke to me. I do agree that they should make some things more difficult in Pokemon games (more trainers need to have full pokemon rosters that don't suck)

Pokemon is multiplayer yes.

But the thing is that OR and AS are bringing new Mega evolution so Pokemon XY could not be fully compatible with them, making OR/AS the only game with all features and Pokemon.

The online community could move there. Of course XY won't be left totally as the userbase is huge. But that's a risk if it's not fully compatible.

Gen 4 was the worst in my opinion.

Gen 1,2,3,5,6,4 in Single player. In multiplayer it is moving upward with each gen.

I agree with you! Gen 4 was simply so forgettable and bland if you ask me.. The battles were also kinda slow! :-/

You dont think they wont add anything else? XD Pokemon remakes historically have the best post game content + new features.
Things to *probably* expect:
-GBA Sounds Player
-Emerald Battle Frontier
-Player rematches (not sure why GF keeps taking this away..)
-Something involving more than just the Regi Trio
-The Mirage Island being redesigned with an actual purpose this time (never got to Mirage Island v.v)
-Redesigned Dive areas/new locations

Also I noticed some purple thing above the city north of the city with the huge Super Market. It appears to be a cave/hideout of some-sort... wasnt in the originals. Also clouds cover chunks of the ocean which may indicate more stuff to be unveiled

Dude to I felt the same way until I saw that there going to revamp the secret bases so I think you should get it it'll be like minecraft but with Pokémon

If there is one thing that I have learned from all my years of playing Pokemon, it's that you should never skip out on a main series game. You will always regret it.

Also, don't forget, you don't have to buy it at launch.

I agree completely I skipped Black and White because I was fed up that Pokémon kept the same story again and again you know collect 8 badges beat the elite 4 stop bad guys. But boy did I regret it it had a very different story and loveable characters so I went to play it in 2012 before the Wii U launched and I immediately bought Black 2 and White 2 which was great but I liked B/W 1 better so ya don't skip pokemon main series games
