Forums - Gaming - Has Final Fantasy Type 0 pushed FFXV beyond a 2015 release date?

Sometimes I question the management of SquEnix lately. They know main series titles sell more than any other yet they aren't making them. FF16 and 17 should be in development, even if the latter is pre-production.

If FF15 is not delivered in the calendar year of 2015, not the financial year, SquEnix will have a huge backlash from fans again. (seriously 1 main non online title in 7 years, 2 in 12).

But I guess they have their priorities. Their mobile vision of the future. :P

You sometimes question it lately? That's generous.

S-E's management has been making stupid decisions for years now.

Why isnt FFT0 coming to the WiiU?

Seems like a missed opportunity...

More a missed opportunity that WiiU owners didn't buy Deus Ex.. such a shame.. great game

I imagine Most Wii  U owners already had the opportunity to play it on either 360/PS3/PC. I really doubt many people the last 7 years with just a wii.

Same could be said about the Wii U, unless you're a hardcore Nintendo only gamer you won't really be satisfied with a Wii U on its own.

Eh.. I never expected a 2015 release date for FFXV, because I know  Square Enix loves dropping the ball everytime they get the chance to do that..

FFXV never had a chance in hell of releasing in 2015. This is SquareEnix we're talking about here.

Thanks jlmurph!

Didn't the lead designer of the Luminious Engine quit Square? I wouldn't be surprised if that (probably having to switch the game to Unreal Engine 4) is causing a huge delay.
