N64 - 2nd

GC - 2nd (beaten by approximately 90,000)

Wii - 1st

So, which game will be bigger than Mario Kart for the WiiU?


wii sports was bigga than mario kart ;)


Pack-in though :) In terms of pure sales, MKWii was bigger.

well so far the 2015 lineup atm is

Splatoon
Mario Party 10
Mario Maker
Xenoblade Chronicles X
Yoshi's Wooly World
Zelda U
Star Fox*
SMT X FE *
Fatal Frame 5*
Devil's Third

Obviously we'll get more but these are the games we know about atm.

I put * to the one's that are possible for 2015,games we dont have confirmation of as far as release date goes

Star Fox: Miyamoto is aiming for 2015,doesnt necessarily mean it will be out then

SMT X FE: Haven't heard anything from it since its initial announcement. I think we'll finally see it in 2015

Fatal Frame 5: Since there's the english manga's release and the american fatal frame film. I think there's a strong chance we'll see this localized in 2015


All in all, if Nintendo releases these on a good schedule and doesnt delay and have multiple droughts like the last few years,then Wii U should have a very good 2015

I think differently. Wii u has a bunch of games coming for it and if E3 continues to be amazing (like this year), 2015 will be an amazing year compared to 2014.

MKWii was also packin for most of its life.

And lets also not forget that wii sports was a new IP that doubled the sales of MKWii.  There is no reason to believe that a new IP from nintendo couldn't sell more than MK8.  Maybe that game is splatoon.

MKWii was also packin for most of its life.

Awesome, 80% of people here think that wii u will sell well. I hope it does and lets hope for better third party in 2015-2016!

No, they said that it will get a boost. That's not the same as selling well.
