enrageorange said: 1). I like what you did there. Talk about how my opinion is completely wrong.
2) Ignore the fact that I listed a dozen games that show the Last of Us is a badly priced by your own criteria.
3) And then try and the change the issue to one about people hating the game and the ps4? Do you happen to be a politician?

1) Your idea of what makes a "bad pricing" was incorrect, was merely correcting you.
2) I didn't ignore the fact. Simply went by your own comments of stating that you felt that some of the abovementioned games were bad values as well. It looks more like you have an axe to grind more than one who was interested in a logical discussion.
3) How was that changing the issue? The point of the line was that ppl with an axe to grind can never be convinced to change their opinion. So discussing things with them usually become meaningless. Tho, to be fair, I'm still on the fence on what your intentions are so I've decided to keep the discussion going in case my initial impression about you was unfair.

1) My idea is not incorrect. I was replying to someone who said "Only idiots would think that it wasn't worth $50." So my reply stems from the fact that many people can have many different reasons for thinking it's not worth $50. Whether they already own the game on the ps3, think it sucks, or just don't pay full price for games, it doesn't matter. Not everyone will think it is worth $50.
Correct me if I am wrong, but you are talking about badly priced compared to the indusry norms. Just like many other words and phrases. Badly priced can mean multiple things in the context of the situation. And in the original context the way i see it the person states that if you "as in you personally" don't think its worth $50 you are an idiot.
2) My comment was more along the lines of. While I still believe that all these remakes are ridiculous and overpriced. Even from your prespective, the game should be considered badly priced because most other remastered games are cheaper and/or come with multiple games.
3) And I thought you were changing the topic because I didn't mention anything about the playstation 4. And I never said anything negative about the actual game's quality. If that comment wasn't geared towards me then I appologize. I just assumed it was since it was in a reply to me.

1) My correction was a direct reply to your notion of "A bad price isn't an objective quantity." Which is incorrect in the exact definition of the word as it is used in business.
edit. Missed your second paragraph. Yes, I meant it in terms of acceptable industry norms. Value based on available prevaling market prices combined into what is present within the new offering. Tho my idiot comment was just me being over the top the same way you were with your "ripped off" comment.
2) Which I disagree with because the prevailing individual market price of the still sellable items offered in TLOU:R is less than the offering price of the Remaster. Which makes it a bargain. Unless, of course, it is standard practice to offer improved still highly marketable items at a much lower price whenever they are offered in a bundle. Which is why I asked for a list.
3) It was a general impression of my feelings for such discussions.
