I don't give a crap about "included DLC" or "higher resolution". You released a game 1 year ago, I'm not gonna buy it again for almost full price. The people who wanna buy it and go on ahead, I'm not going to support these 1 year old "remasters".

Yes, evil Naughty Dog should never give people who never owned a PS3 / TLOU the opportunity to play this game on the PS4 they just purchased within the last months. They should make these people wait at least 3 years before they can be deserving of playing this game.

Why does time make any difference?

Did I say that they shouldn't allow other people to play it? I said that I don't support 1 year old remasters.

What if i don't care about DLC or i already buy it on Ps3 they should make a discount for who had it

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

As someone who never played the game on PS3 I have no complaints.

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine

It's so weird, it's like anyone that has a problem with the price can't just go ahead and not buy it....oh wait

Thanks jlmurph!

I read that as you don't support the idea of 1 year old remasters, and if that's so then you actually don't think other people should be allowed to play it, because you don't think this remaster should exist at all. Y'see "support" doesn't just mean buying the game, "support" also means thinking ND is doing a good thing by releasing the game on PS4.

However if you are just making it as an individual purchasing statement but you are fine with the concept of 1 year old remasters then your view is pretty much the same as mine. Only I express my view in a manner that is less insulting towards ND. I'm not buying TLOUR because I already have it (and Left Behind) so I don't see any point in buying it again. But I'm very happy that people with PS4, who never owned PS3 or TLOU for PS3, are able to buy the game for PS4. What can possibly be bad about that, and why is less than launch price of TLOU for more content bad value for these people?

Lol, it's not. It's on PS3 for much cheaper, and its the exact same game.

$30 new on amazon without the DLCs, the Left Behind story DLC alone is $15 on top of that and then there is various mp DLC in it as well

btw, some people just prefer the BR edition of a movie to the DVD - similar situation

Not worth.

Windwaker HD was not worth 50$
and neither is this game.

30$ would be fine

the PS3 version still is $30 ...

Many people would debate that the DLC is even worth that much.  Also, they lower the price to games when people start to buy it alot, there's circulation and so Sony lowers the price so the game doesn't get destory by used sales.

Also, it's much cheaper used, and whether it's on PS4 or PS3 doesn't really matter, the console should've supported PS3 anyway, this is just another instence of game companies trying to double dip.

1). I like what you did there. Talk about how my opinion is completely wrong.

2) Ignore the fact that I listed a dozen games that show the Last of Us is a badly priced by your own criteria.

3) And then try and the change the issue to one about people hating the game and the ps4? Do you happen to be a politician?

1) Your idea of what makes a "bad pricing" was incorrect, was merely correcting you.

2) I didn't ignore the fact. Simply went by your own comments of stating that you felt that some of the abovementioned games were bad values as well. It looks more like you have an axe to grind more than one who was interested in a logical discussion.

3) How was that changing the issue? The point of the line was that ppl with an axe to grind can never be convinced to change their opinion. So discussing things with them usually become meaningless. Tho, to be fair, I'm still on the fence on what your intentions are so I've decided to keep the discussion going in case my initial impression about you was unfair.

1) My idea is not incorrect. I was replying to someone who said "Only idiots would think that it wasn't worth $50." So my reply stems from the fact that many people can have many different reasons for thinking it's not worth $50. Whether they already own the game on the ps3, think it sucks, or just don't pay full price for games, it doesn't matter. Not everyone will think it is worth $50.

Correct me if I am wrong, but you are talking about badly priced compared to the indusry norms. Just like many other words and phrases. Badly priced can mean multiple things in the context of the situation. And in the original context the way i see it the person states that if you "as in you personally" don't think its worth $50 you are an idiot.

2) My comment was more along the lines of. While I still believe that all these remakes are ridiculous and overpriced. Even from your prespective, the game should be considered badly priced because most other remastered games are cheaper and/or come with multiple games.

3) And I thought you were changing the topic because I didn't mention anything about the playstation 4. And I never said anything negative about the actual game's quality. If that comment wasn't geared towards me then  I appologize. I just assumed it was since it was in a reply to me.

1) My correction was a direct reply to your notion of "A bad price isn't an objective quantity." Which is incorrect in the exact definition of the word as it is used in business.

edit. Missed your second paragraph. Yes, I meant it in terms of acceptable industry norms. Value based on available prevaling market prices combined into what is present within the new offering. Tho my idiot comment was just me being over the top the same way you were with your "ripped off" comment.

2) Which I disagree with because the prevailing individual market price of the still sellable items offered in TLOU:R is less than the offering price of the Remaster. Which makes it a bargain. Unless, of course, it is standard practice to offer improved still highly marketable items at a much lower price whenever they are offered in a bundle. Which is why I asked for a list.

3) It was a general impression of my feelings for such discussions.

The Last of Us new at Amazon - $29
Left Behind DLC - $15
Grounded Mode DLC - $5

$49-$50

The Last of Us Remastered. $49-$50

Not a steal.

'A steal'... not really, but nvm.

In 2010 ford released a new mustang body style. Then in 2011 they used that same body style but instead put a bigger motor and 6 speed tranny in it. Should people who bought the 2010 modle get a discount on the 2011 modle? I dont think so either
