I played Dynasty Warriors 2-4 on PS2 with a friend, and it was pretty fun. Kind of dumb, but fun. This game is pretty much the perfect combination of things to make me want to buy a -warriors game. I think that a lot of people in the US will feel the same way.

Ugh, don't tell me about it.

I thought most people would understand that this was a spin-off, but I've seen several people around the internet complaining about how this game was not a "real Zelda" and "changed too much from what Zelda's supposed to be", etc.

Maybe next time they'll be complaining about Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland too.
These are probably the same people who complain about the 3DS not getting Mario Kart 8 and stuff like that. Simply hopeless.

I haven't seen anyone who said stuff like that here on VGChartz, so at least this place is safe from those morons..

What if Bill Gates bought $1,000,000,000 worth of them at $65 (tax included) a piece opening day? What would happen to the world then? Would the Replicators return?

It probably will since the game looks great and it has Zelda on it... I am sure enough people want to give it a try even if they dont like Dynasty Warriors just cause of the Zelda theme

My guess is Koei Tecmo has this series and engine to the point it is guaranteed to make money. They make a Warriors game of some variety every 6 months so that engine has had tons of use at this point. If Hyrule Warriors sells even 500K I would say make a nice profit. I would expect it to sell 1 million thanks to having Zelda brand.

Nah, VGC is fine.

I was referring to some more obscure places like major gaming websites and YouTube comments.
Not exactly the places to look for some faith in humanity.

I guess VGChartz not being very popular can have some advantages after all..
