The XB1 is an exercise in bad press and look at it. It couldn't outsell the PS4 in the US or the Wii U WW, with a major price drop. Alright then, I rest my case. 

I still wouldn't use vgchartz data to make an argument but that does not mean that you should take the next sets of data with face value seeing as how vgchartz has shown to be wrong frequently. Just because the WII U has the japanese market does not mean that it is not irrelevant seeing as how WII U is doing sub 10K in Japan and BTW the week ending July 5th on vgchartz shows that X1 is ahead of the WII U ... 

Well yes negative press did hurt wii sales, with the hardcore. The wii had plenty of games for the Hardcore but it became a bit of a media punching bag amungst gaming websites and that really hurt the sales of some of those games and Nintendos image in the long run.

It's VERY telling that so many people say "PS4+WiiU is best combo."

And it doesnt matter that the Xbox One was out earlier, all the Wii U needs to do is continue selling at a similar rate to Xbox One and it will stay ahead.

Don't be so sure just yet ... The next main installment to Halo hasn't being released compared to Nintendo pulling out 3 of it's biggest hitter. 


The very first two words in my post were "I'm uncertain."

I honestly have no idea what will happen and anyone making comments definitivly about this are being a bit premature to be honest.

Statements  like "I doubt it will outsellf the Vita." for instance.

The only "heavy hitters" Nintendo has released is Mario Kart 8 and NSMBU.

And SM3DW isn't a heavy hitter ? 

I really do doubt that the WII U will outsell the vita seeing as how it's being on the market for almost 2 years now ...

glad you see and accept the allllmigthy the PS4 ness is.

but will u out do wish it was really the 1, no. wiiu just had its juggernaut drop and X1 still out sold it considerably.

Inferior as the x1 3rd parties may be to PS4, they still are on X1 and not u. plus x1 might get some decent exclusives, this year that are plenty good nuf to out do wiius.

u is also to pricey to really war with x1 for sales second place supremacy.

Man... where have I seen these words.. or at least similar words to what was used...but used something.... hmm... it was something... small... would fit in your hands and play games.... oh right, the Vita vs the 3DS. Also, with the vita selling half of what the Wii U is and the Wii U has some massive titles coming. The WIi U will pass the Vita no problem, if not by christmas, then by early next year, before spring.

 

but yeah, it will be an interesting race between Wii U and Xbox One, really, it could go either way. I am guess they will be mostly neck and neck until the end.

I doubt it. The X1 is doing poorly even with the big price cut.



Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

WiiU will outsell X1. No chance! WiiU has amazing games coming up and PS4 eats X1 in every aspect!
