So the wii u keeps outselling the x1 world wide. Nobody wants to admit the new baseline for the wii u increased to 60k, while the x1 sits at 60k as well but is still droping.

Because it didn't, it's still MK8 boosting the sales and that won't last forever. It probably will drop below XOne in the coming weeks and come September it won't be able to beat it for a long time, if ever(atleast for a full month).

Do you still count on third partys to move x1? Prepare for disapointment. After each exclusive realease the wii u will double the x1 on every realease week.

MK8 is Wii-U's biggest title, and not just so far but likely ever to hit the system. The only really big game that's coming this year for Wii-U is SSB, and that releases on 3DS first taking away some momentum from the Wii-U version. By the time that launches we will be in the holiday season.

Every major game of this year will then have released on Xbox One, and the system will have released in new markets.

If Wii-U beats Xbox One it might do it with SSB launch but even that is unlikely and it wouldn't be more than one or two weeks.

I think people are underestimating the Wii U and overestimating the XB1.

I already said at the very start of this generation that WiiU and Xbox One would be a close race. Later I said if Xbox One would overtake WiiU it's going to take as long as it took the PS3 to overtake the 360 and by the looks of things the Xbox One isn't getting any closer. By the time it happens, if it happens, nobody will care anymore.

Personally I'd still give the WiiU the benefit of the doubt, and I'll stick to my prediction.

Xbox One will probably pull ahead after this holiday. Wii U is very dependent on 1st party releases, while XB1 will get a decent number of 3rd party games which will keep momentum up.

Well seeing how console don't start selling until the last few months of the year, we do not know. There are still tons of 360 gamers who have not converted. 360 preorders for upcoming multiplats have doubled the ps3 preorders.
XBO is going to do quite well when Halo MCC and the new CoD drops. SO will even help out a tiny bit.

Around the Network

People thinking that 3rd party titles like CoD are going to boost XB1 sales are in for a rude awakening.

There is literally ZERO reason to buy an XB1 for those games when the PS4 is the same price, looks better, and comes with exclusive content.

MK8 might be the biggest title, I personally belive is smash bros, but do you really belive that takes away from the other titles. As I said in previous post, the games comming to the wii u might not be the biggest, but they are unique to this generation. The ps4 or x1 dont have any hack and slash like bayoneta, no japanese centric rpg like hyrule wariors, I dont think any corky puzzles like captain toad, skylanders will be dominant on the wii u. fans of thouse types of games will only be satisfied on the wii u.

Thouse new markets will boost sales on the first week of realease only, non of thouse contrys are interested in the xbox brand, wich is why they have not realesed on thouse areas.

Like it was said before, the people interested in third party titles that have no consoles yet wont choose an x1 to play them. They will sell well to existen owners but that is it. Who is going to choose the inferior version of a game and future games for the same price, actually higher if you consider that live is $10 more than ps+. And if you think thouse exclusives will appeal to people who dont already have the x1, then prepare for dissapointment, but you most likely are used to it if your an xbox fan.

The only way the x1 has a chance of selling is depending on the deals that MS has planed for the hollidays, if they are week, x1 will sell no more the 2m by the end of the year. The wii u I expect to sell at least 3.5m.

It takes genuine talent to see greatness in yourself despite your absence of genuine talent.

It seems the fight is hard for the second place (worldwide) !

Kind of strange after so much arguing about the xb1 "catching up and surpassing" the PS4! reassuring too!

err define looks better.  I think you mean marginally different T_T  No reason to start a console war. If I want a multiplat to look its best I get on PC.  Enjoy the XBO because it has features a ps4 and PC do not have. :| But that is just me.

Negative press amongst game journalists and forums means nothing about real world reception of the said platform plus Japan is irrelevant for the most part seeing as how all consoles are doing sub 10K weakly including the WII U. I wouldn't put a whole lot of trust either towards vgchartz numbers so I don't see why the WII U would do better in europe than X1.

Really? So all the negative press that the X1 saw during it's initial reveal has done nothing to hurt it's sales? The 360 had MASSIVE momentum heading into this gen in the US, it trounced the PS3 in the NA market! Fast forward to this Gen, and that massive momentum that MS had built has shifted into Sony's camp! Sony was able to erase a massive gap in the NA market now currently holds top spot while small it's still absolutely huge change in momentum. This is largely do do with the massive amounts of negative press from forums and game journalists.  I am not sure how you can completely dismiss that!  I can walk into any store and see far more X1's on the shelves and even software than PS4's! Wal-mart is constantly sold out of PS4's (last 3 times I have gone) while X1's remain on the shelves. This was a MS stronghold last game, many people I know who were also MS fans last Gen were turned off the X1 because of the bad press and switched. MS is suffering from it all you have to do is look at the sales.
