Remakes aren't going to sell any close to XY which was a new generation. Destiny will be bigger, especially in the West. AC Unity too.

So this thread bases itself on VGC highly reliable numbers to predict that since 3DS outsold PS4 this week by 30k it have more chances of hitting 100M? Seems credible, even more with the 30+M headstart. Can't wait to see when ps4 outsell 3DS for one of the next weeks if OP will make a reverse thread. Tagging for it, but TheDrill thread is a lot better.
Also OP says after that no console selling more than100M is more plausible, so what is the point of this thread again?
And he says he is countering several 3Ds vs Ps4 threads that he is yet to link (and admitelly is one of the biggest starter of this kind of thread). And why post a counterthread to your own thread and other threads that agree with you?

FIrstly no it has not, the difference varies by week but aside from the one just past and watchogs launch they've pretty much been neck and neck with the.

Secondly this is the weakest winter line up the 3DS has had yet... It is in decline in Japan and NA, its peaked has passed sales will slow down and its biggest hitters are behind it; 2D mario, MArio Kart, 3D mario, New Pokemon, Monster hunter, Animal Crossing... The PS4's biggets hitters are yet to come.

Thirdly only consoles that fail peak in their first year, the PS4 hasn't peaked yet and based on its ability to sell with very little compelling next gen exclusive,x we can only conclude that when AC Unity, Batman Arkham Knight, Witcher 3, The Order 1886, Bloodborne, Uncharted, FF Type 0 and much more release on it in the next year and a half it will blow past 100k a week. Thats not to mention the a price cut that will probably arrive in 2016.

if PS3 is on 82.5m and still going, why is it hard to believe PS4 can do 100m?
