They should allow WiiU users to either play 720p 30 or with a lower resolution but with 60fps. I mean they delay it so they have enough time to implement that.
TBH every game developer should do this in every game on every platform.

Let people decide whether they want graphics or gameplay.

I mean this here is a 480p screen of ProjectCars that I upscaled to 1080p (so I basically did what your TV does to 480p games)

Looks sufficient imho

30fps? Lol and I'm confirmed to no longer give a flying shit about this game.

I like the look of this!!!!

But it looks AMAZING!

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Does anyone have a source for the information? The link in the OT just has the info, no original source itself.

Anyway, if it's true then the performance side of things is somewhat depressing. I'm sure most can live with 720p (and it has AA, though a shitty method), but 30fps? Isn't this a proper racing sim? It's one of the few genre i believe the resource investment for 60fps is actually worth it...

Who cares if it's 30fps. 30fps is still very playable

Like black and white is still very watcheable on a 400x300 screen.

It's not that bad though, you'll just get a more blur effect

Damn, no AA is better than the FXAA... I hate it.

The source doesn't sound trustworthy.

Maybe they delayed the game because 30FPS wasn't a good experience and they try to increase it with some downgrades.
