With a good team with all of us with mic's we busted through it in like 30 minutes.  I played with some randoms as well though and that took MUCH longer as there was not as much teamwork to take out the bosses.

Yeah, I just took it on with two randoms and finished in just over an hour when I was expecting a 20minute mission @.@ I feel like they need to tone down the bullet-spongey-ness of the bosses because a mission like that shouldn't take longer than a mission in Monster Hunter.

With a team that coordinates its not bad at all. We took the bosses down quickly. Also we were all level 5 while the recommended level is 6.

With a team that is at the right level working together I'm sure 20 minute runs are for sure doable.

Wait, is there a difficulty scaling system based on level or is it set?

Anyways, I don't want to be too much of a negative nancy, but I just feel like the "combat" isn't really in depth enough to sustain my interest in a 15 minute boss fight. I'm comparing it to Monster Hunter because I feel like that has perfect boss fight balance and a combat system that is interesting enough to maintain my interest for 40 minute fights (although now, Freedom Wars might be a better example, because it is a shooter)...Bosses in Destiny seem to have one pattern which promotes popping in out and of cover repeatedly, instead of doing anything interesting.

Sounds like you just needed a better team.

Yeah, most bosses should take like 10 mins tops. Most PUGs 8've been in now usually do it in 5. My first PUG was horrid tho, wiped like 10 times. Ugh.

I don't know the exact times, but I do know that I was bored well before they were dead. If the only "challenge" is that it takes a long time to beat, than that is some bad artificial difficulty.
