Probably not, 2014 is simply a stronger year for software releases:

Mario Kart 8 + Smash U + Bayo 2 + Hyrule Warriors + DKC + Captain Toad > Splatoon + Wooly Yoshi + Legend of Zelda + Star Fox + Mario Maker + Xenoblade X in terms of sales potential.

Though it could be close because Wii U will probably get a price drop in 2015 + potential continued momentum from Amiibo.

I think so. It'll have much more exclusive games, new IPs, and the price can go down.

Honestly no.

- It had its biggest franchises release this year nicely spread out, and the effect was low to none, 2015s are mostly secondary and small.

- Its competition will be just to great to do any type of decent sales. And it wont cut price to a low enough level to really matter, especially with X1 dropping price like a rock it seems.

U sales will end up at less then 20m, if you go with expected low sales you can see there will be no great 2015 sales wise. If it can maintain that will be great.
